When Terry Fox was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at 18, the experience ignited in him a fierce determination to bring an end to the suffering cancer causes. His personal experience and research led him to the conclusion that more money was needed for cancer research. And so, on April 12, 1980, Terry dipped his artificial leg in the Atlantic Ocean and proceeded to change the world.

A close friend of mine texted me today......

Life is short, art is long!

How much time do you think you need to stick to an idea or a concept to make it successful?

Few examples:

Dr. E Donald thomas(father of bone marrow transplant) stubbornly pursued for 20 years to make transplant successful.

Once after a performance someone said to Mozart that you are flawless, he replied,”it took me 14 years to make this melody flawless.”

It took Sir James Dyson 15 years and all of his savings to develop a bagless prototype that worked. He developed 5,126 prototypes that failed first.

Someone aptly said, it takes almost 20 years of hard work to get overnight success.

Always believe in yourself and keep going!
