Not all trauma screams.
Some of it stays silent.
Childhood Emotional Neglect doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like:
• Feeling “empty” but not knowing why
• Struggling to build deep relationships
• Constant self-doubt
• Difficulty expressing emotions
When a child’s feelings are repeatedly ignored, minimized, or invalidated, they don’t stop feeling.
They just stop showing it.
And that silence can follow them into adulthood.
The good news?
Awareness is the first step toward healing.
You are not “too sensitive.”
You were just not emotionally seen.
If this resonates, save this post.
Healing starts with understanding. 💚
