The word Surya Namaskar isn’t new to the yoga lovers. Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutation is a set of 12 exercises which are done in a particular sequence. The main aim of Surya Namaskar is to attain strength, flexibility and vitality in the body. In simple words, the coordination of breathing and body movements help the muscles in performing deeper and more engaged postures.

The 12 exercises which are a part of Surya Namaskar are:
