Conducted “Basic NRP training course” at Kailash Hospital Greater Noida. Approx 25 nursing staff have enrolled & trained in neonatal resuscitation basic steps ( routine care, initial steps and positive pressure ventilation). A special focus was given on anticipation of risk factors, team building & briefing, close loop communication, appropriate behaviour & debriefing. I hope it will help to improve newborn resuscitation in day to day deliveries and ensure best practices in saving tiny babies 👶

: A newborn baby facing severe breathing issues and excess air in the lungs was admitted to the NICU at Kailash Hospital, Greater Noida. With the expert guidance of Dr. Gaurav Agarwal, Consultant Neonatologist, a chest tube drainage procedure was performed to remove the trapped air, and the baby was supported with ventilator assistance.

Thanks to the timely intervention and dedicated neonatal care, the baby showed remarkable improvement within just 2–3 days of the treatment.

I feel honoured to be a panelist Faculty on
“Tiny Lives, Big Needs –Creating Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs in Modern Pediatrics “ in
“YUVA PEDICON” 2025. YUVA PEDICON is a central zone pediatric conference organised by YUVA Pediatricians of “ Academy of Pediatrics, Noida & UP ”in collaboration with “India Academy of Pediatrics”. In this panel we discussed the challenges, critical infrastructure,uniform implementation of clinical protocols, equitable access to level 2/3 NICU with geographic equity, family Centred care & barriers , development of High quality NICU & follow up clinics. A lot of young neonatal consultants discussed the above points under shadow of experts and delegates attending YUVA PEDICON.

Also Attended as “Observer NRP Instructor Faculty” in Advance NRP pre conference workshop. I got the pleasure to be a part of faculty team with stalwarts Dr. Lalan Bharti, Dr.Dinesh Tomar Sir to train 36 young Pediatricians in Advance Neonatal Resuscitation.

Typhoid or Enteric Fever

Prevention from typhoid fever is simple and possible by following WASH (safe water, sanitation and maintaining hygiene) as well as TYPHOID vaccine.
“ Typhoid conjugate vaccine is the effective way to prevent typhoid especially in children”. Typhoid vaccine can be given after 6 months of age till adult age and only dose is required to provide immunity.
