What do I say about not being able to post my journey, life unfolded in ways I couldn’t schedule, batch or plan.
My journey was so internal that although I had plans to share it with all of you, I couldn’t.
I was blessed with a smooth pregnancy, I connected with other ‘moms to be’ while taking classes until the last month of my pregnancy, all of us going through similar physical, mental and emotional roller coaster 🤗 and having them would was such a blessing.
My practice was just the same throughout the pregnancy, same asanas on repeat.
I have so much to talk about, so much to share with you all.
I’m slowly finding my voice again.
Not to “catch up” on missed content…
But to share what grew while I was away.
To every woman on the path to pregnancy, in it, or just beyond it —
I see you. And I’m back — not perfectly, but more honestly than ever.

Let’s take out a little time everyday and meditate for atleast 10 mins.
In today’s day and age all of us are aware of the benefits of meditation and yet we don’t know where to begin our practice.
There are various techniques to practice meditation, the most common one being closing the eyes and focusing on the movement of the breath through our body without paying attention to the numerous thoughts arising. When we lean to focus our attention to our breath and not on the thoughts, over the time the thoughts reduce and mind becomes a silent space, where you’re only with your breath and that space helps us deflect from all the external chaos that the outside world comes with each day.
You can begin meditating with mantras, the most common mantra being ‘OM’. Take deep inhale till the belly and as you exhale silently image the sound of the exhale as the mantra 🕉️
These are some easy ways to begin your meditation journey and believe me, once you start practising and noticing the benefits in your daily life. There’s no stopping.

*Long Post 🚨
What an amazing journey with Yoga!
I’ve always loved to create things, through art, through touch, through sharing how I feel and always try to make others feel something when they’re with me.
I believe this is how you leave a mark of yourself in this world, by touching things, by making them your own, by giving them something or just by creating something that could be passed on.
Similarly, when my yoga journey began, I was there not knowing what I was doing or whether it’s meaningful. I was woken up by my father every morning at 5 am to go for a walk and then attend a yoga class with him.. little did I know what it was doing to me. For someone who had little to no patience, yoga was too slow.. gave no instant gratification.. something our generation is extremely fond of! 😅
And one day I was smiling again after God knows how many months of clinical depression. So many days of not being able to pull myself out of bed and not being able to even brush my teeth willingly.
Something shifted during those days of me being annoyed by my dad to wake up early, I’ll never forget that monsoon.. I’ll never forget that just like every other good thing in my life has my parents involved in it, even Yoga is given to me by them.
I’m proud that when I took the decision of leaving a high paying marketing profession and be a full time yoga teacher, they’ve been my backbone.
Through this journey since 2015 till today, whatever I could be I dedicate it to Yoga, because with a screwed up (pardon my French) mental health I’d be nowhere.
Would have never found the guy who’d been there patiently while I’d been breaking down every other day with my injured knee and keeping me brave through my fear of not being able to practice again. 💔
My whole family acts as the strong root of a tree that’s free to grow as tall she wants because they’re there to hold her tight.
I’ll always be ‘teachable’ and would keep learning till my last breath. I dedicate my life to Yoga. Om Shanti 🙏

From the beginning of the recorded history, women have been the care givers but these care givers rarely take out time to take care of themselves.
