An 80-year-old woman with refractory heart failure due to severe mitral regurgitation, despite optimal medical therapy and considered high risk for open-heart surgery, successfully underwent the MyCLIP minimally invasive procedure.

The 2-hour procedure significantly reduced the mitral valve leakage from severe to mild, leading to improved heart function and enhanced functional capacity.

This case marks the first MyCLIP procedure performed in Western Uttar Pradesh and the 174th in India, representing a moment of pride for Fortis Noida and a remarkable innovation for elderly patients who are not suitable candidates for surgery.

🫀 A Miracle with Team Efforts

Some cases stay with you forever.

This gentleman came to us in the most critical condition a massive heart attack, heart function dangerously low, on a ventilator for 15 days. His main artery, the LM LAD (the 'widow maker'), was completely blocked.

With the help of my incredible team, we opened the artery using a biodegradable polymer stent modern technology that opens the vessel, supports healing, and naturally dissolves over time.

And then… he walked out. On his own. No wheelchair. No assistance.

Moments like these remind me why I chose this path. It's never just one person it's every nurse, technician, intensivist, and team member who makes miracles possible.

Grateful beyond words. 🙏

Age is just a number. Courage and timely treatment save lives.

This 90-year-old gentleman came to us with a massive heart attack due to a critical main artery blockage.

We immediately performed emergency angioplasty and opened the blocked artery. During the procedure, he required 3 DC shocks (defibrillation) to stabilize his heart rhythm.

Today, he walks out smiling.

This case reminds us:
* Never ignore chest pain
* Early intervention is life-saving
* Advanced cardiac care can make miracles possible

Grateful to my entire team for their precision and dedication.

Stentless angioplasty treats blocked arteries using a special drug-coated balloon without leaving a permanent stent. It can be a safe and effective option for select patients. Ask your cardiologist if it’s suitable for you.

Heart attacks don’t always come with dramatic chest pain. Warning signs like breathlessness, fatigue, sweating, or jaw pain are often ignored. Listen to your body. Early action can save a life.

A heart attack happens when blood flow to the heart is blocked. Conditions like high BP, diabetes, smoking, stress, and poor lifestyle increase the risk. Regular check-ups can prevent major emergencies.

Not all heart attacks are the same. Some occur due to complete blockage, others from partial blockages or reduced blood flow. Silent heart attacks may show little or no symptoms. Early awareness can save lives.
