A heart attack happens when blood flow to the heart is blocked. Conditions like high BP, diabetes, smoking, stress, and poor lifestyle increase the risk. Regular check-ups can prevent major emergencies.

Not all heart attacks are the same. Some occur due to complete blockage, others from partial blockages or reduced blood flow. Silent heart attacks may show little or no symptoms. Early awareness can save lives.

Cholesterol isn’t always bad — your body needs it. But when levels rise, especially LDL (“bad cholesterol”), it can silently block arteries and increase heart attack or stroke risk.
Healthy food choices, regular exercise, and timely check-ups can keep your heart safe.

Heart attacks can strike suddenly, especially in people with high BP, cholesterol, or heart disease. Keeping basic SOS heart medicines like aspirin, prescribed chest-pain tablets, and regular BP or cholesterol medicines at home can help during the first critical minutes. Quick action and immediate medical care can save lives.

As the year comes to a close, moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

An 82-year-old lady, who had been struggling with critical aortic stenosis and recurrent hospital admissions for heart failure, found renewed hope after a successful TAVR procedure. What once meant repeated breathlessness and uncertainty has now turned into stability, comfort, and a better quality of life.

Before ending this year, stories like hers stand as a powerful reminder that advanced cardiac care is not just about procedures it’s about giving patients more meaningful days, dignity, and hope.

Grateful to the entire heart team and thankful for the trust placed in us.

Cholesterol is essential, but the balance matters. HDL is the “good” cholesterol that protects your heart, while LDL and high triglycerides increase the risk of blockages and heart disease. Healthy food choices, regular exercise, and routine checkups help keep your cholesterol levels in control and your heart healthy.
