A simple but catchy slogan for this Puget Sound Blood Center campaign. The poster adds value to the message by showing a group of diverse and funny people waiting in line, presumably to give blood.

2. “Bring life back to power. Make blood donation your responsibility”
Supported by a powerful poster showing a pointed bloody finger, this campaign slogan underlines the importance of blood giving. The quote has the merit of reminding in a straightforward way that giving blood means saving lives.

3. “Spare only 15 minutes and save one life”
Sometimes we tend to forget how easy can be to help another human been but this quote manages to remind us. By highlighting the simplicity of the process, the slogan has also the merit to comfort and convince people that are afraid of donating blood to give it a try.

4. “Heroes come in all types and sizes”
Being a hero is not in reach for most of us, but this quote reminds you that we can really be of great help for someone in need by simply giving blood. The slogan was promoting a Bonfils Blood Center blood drive.

5. “Anybody can save lives”
The simple slogan that says it all, this quote served to promote a campaign in Greece. The poster is the one that really convinces here, with the great minimalist design that suggests that blood donating is really a thing we all can do.

6. “Your children need one pint of blood to live, pick the heterosexual one”
The quote refers to the ban on blood donation some countries, US included, impose on gay men no matter their health condition or lifestyle. The message of this slogan is that the blood of healthy gay men can save lives too.

A blood donation occurs when a person voluntarily has blood drawn and used for transfusions and/or made into biopharmaceutical medications by a process called fractionation (separation of whole-blood components). Donation may be of whole-blood (WB), or of specific components directly (the latter called apheresis). Blood banks often participate in the collection process as well as the procedures that follow it. During Blood Donation the assistance of a nanurse is reqired to take caer of the person who has donated blood.

रक्त दान तब होता है जब एक व्यक्ति को स्वैच्छिक रूप से रक्त निकाला जाता है और ट्रांसफ्यूशन के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है और / या बायोफर्मास्यूटिकल दवाओं में अंशांकन (पूरे रक्त घटकों को अलग करने) कहा जाता है। दान पूरे रक्त (डब्लूबी), या विशिष्ट घटकों के सीधे हो सकता है (उत्तरार्द्ध जिसे एफेरेसिस कहा जाता है)। रक्त बैंक संग्रह प्रक्रिया में अक्सर भाग लेते हैं और साथ ही प्रक्रियाओं का पालन करते हैं। रक्तदान के दौरान रक्त दान करने वाले व्यक्ति के बारे में जानकारी लेने के लिए नैनर्स की सहायता की जाती है।

Blood donation is a major concern to the society as donated blood is lifesaving for individuals who need it. Blood is scarce. There is a shortage to active blood donors to meet the need of increased blood demand. Blood donation as a therapeutic exercise. Globally, approximately 80 million units of blood are donated each year. One of the biggest challenges to blood safety particularly is accessing safe and adequate quantities of blood and blood products. Safe supply of blood and blood components is essential, to enable a wide range of critical care procedures to be carried out in hospitals. Good knowledge about blood donation practices is not transforming in donating blood. Interactive awareness on blood donation should be organized to create awareness and opportunities for blood donation. Blood donation could be therefore recommended that voluntary blood donations as often as possible may be therapeutically beneficial to the donors in terms of thrombotic complications and efficient blood flow mechanisms. This is also a plus for blood donation campaigns.
