This is classic Microsporidiosis, which often presents with a โstuck-onโ appearance on the cornea. This condition is more common during the rainy season due to exposure to contaminated water.
A close mimicker of this infection is adenoviral conjunctivitis with corneal involvement (commonly called SORE EYES) which can present with similar signs and symptoms.

Microsporidiosis can affect anyone, but is more common in:
-People with weakened immune systems

-People with recent eye trauma or surgery

-Avoid swimming in or using untreated or contaminated water
-Protect your eyes from injury or foreign bodies
