“World Doula Week" felt different this year.

For the first time, I hosted a small meetup in Madurai… not knowing if anyone would show up.

No big crowd. No fancy setup.
Just two women who chose to show up

In a place where most people are still asking, ‘What is a doula?’ — two women walked in.

And somehow, that felt like everything.

Because awareness doesn’t start with crowds.
