*18.03.2023, Saturday* A case of Tumor in a heifer was referred to SDVH Pakyong from Latuk Village . A team lead by Dr. Chandrawati Gautam, Deputy Director,SDVH Pakyong along with Dr. Kamal Rai, VO , MVU, Mr Som Bdr Tamang, Livestock Attendant, SDVH Pakyong, Mr Tenzing Bhutia and Mr Sonam Dadul Bhutia from VD Barapathing attended the case.The Tumor mass of 400 Grams was excised successfully. Surgical management of tumor is always a challenging job under field conditions.

Classical swine fever (CSF) is a highly contagious and often fatal viral disease of swine. Infected pigs develop fever, hemorrhages, lethargy, yellowish diarrhea, vomiting, and a purple skin discoloration of the ears, lower abdomen, and legs. Neurologic signs, reproductive failures, and abortion may also be observed.
