Happy Recovery Story | 92-Year-Old Hip Fracture Surgery Success

A 92-year-old male patient was brought to our hospital by his relatives with complaints of left hip pain and swelling after a self-fall at home (06/02/2026). After clinical evaluation and investigations, he was diagnosed with Left Intertrochanteric Fracture of Femur.

✅ Surgery Performed: CRIF (Closed Reduction Internal Fixation) with PFN A2 – Left Femur

With timely surgical intervention, expert orthopedic management, and proper post-operative care, the patient recovered well and is now stable and comfortable.

This case highlights that even at the age of 92, successful hip fracture surgery and recovery are possible with the right treatment and care.

महिलांच्या आरोग्याला प्राधान्य देत रिलीफ हॉस्पिटल्सतर्फे आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या मोफत आरोग्य तपासणी शिबिराला उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद मिळाला. या शिबिरात सुमारे २०० महिलांची मोफत तपासणी करण्यात आली.
या उपक्रमामध्ये स्त्रीरोग, डोळे, दंत, त्वचारोग तसेच नाक-कान-घसा आणि हाडांच्या आजारांबाबत तपासणी व तज्ज्ञ डॉक्टरांकडून मार्गदर्शन देण्यात आले. तसेच महिलांना त्यांच्या आरोग्याबाबत जागरूक राहण्याचे महत्त्वही सांगण्यात आले.
आजच्या धकाधकीच्या जीवनात अनेक महिला स्वतःच्या आरोग्याकडे दुर्लक्ष करतात. अशा महिलांना वेळेवर तपासणीची संधी मिळावी आणि त्यांच्या आरोग्याबाबत जागरूकता वाढावी हा या शिबिरामागील मुख्य उद्देश होता.
