When I was working as a software Engineer in Mumbai, I had to travel 21kms one way to reach office. I used to wake up early morning around 5am & finish all my chores at home, get ready for office & leave home by 7.45am. Almost all days, I used to skip breakfast at home & would survive only on coffee (most of the times) until lunch.
By 5pm (certain days I have even logged out at 7pm), when it was time to leave office, i would be fully drained and reach back home at 9pm (some days it would be 10pm depending on the traffic) with almost NO ENERGY LEFT to even eat my dinner (my husband would make something on his own & keep it ready for me). There were days when I used to just lie down on the bed without doing anything (when I remember that, I feel terrible. I pity myself for those days). Then, it was all about earning money and just surviving life somehow 🙂
When I got to know about certain health challenges I was going through, my doctor asked me to take rest completely and focus on my health. I decided to join my husband at his wellness centre, started going to his wellness centre at 6am & gradually made my health as top priority (it was hard to manage both health and work but I had to do it else I knew my health would deteriorate more). Gradually my energy levels picked up, I was energetic even after reaching home late at night (which was really a wonder for me).
Gradually, i found hapiness in our wellness centre (helped me to cope up with my mental health and stress management) & i decided to take it up as a career. Learned (& still learning) how to take care of other's health, share my knowledge on improving health on daily basis, taking care of my people who believe in me and give it back to them! 💖

The journey of changing people's lives is an ongoing process. There's no rush or targets to help people. When you genuinely help others, you find your joy for transforming their lives. I am just getting started 😊

As the saying goes, "if WELLNESS is EXPENSIVE, TRY ILLNESS" is true. Take care of your health & live your best life 💞 💞
