AINAK 2025 – Bridging Basics & Breakthroughs in Optometry, organized by Precise Institute of Optometry in association with the Indian Optometrists Association, Kerala, was successfully conducted on 14th December 2025 at SP Grand Days, Thiruvananthapuram.
The CME commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Jayaram V R, Chairman & Senior Consultant in Cornea & Refractive Surgery, Precise Specilaity Eye Care. The program was inaugurated by Ms. Celia Vinny, General Secretary, IOA Kerala, setting an inspiring beginning to the academic event.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of Lifetime Achievement Awards to Mr. G. Gangadharan Kutty, Mr. Anil J. Eadikkodu, Mr. G. Sarasappan Nadar, Mr. M. Gopinathan Nair, and Mr. B. Premkumar, in recognition of their invaluable contributions to the field of optometry.
The academic sessions that followed featured presentations by Dr. Sruthi Vijayalekshmi, Ms. Ashly Antony, Mr. Shyno P. S., Dr. Navarosh J., Dr. Nimmy Raj, Dr. Juliana Roslitta Stephen, Dr. Vishnu Mohan M., Dr. Aswathy V. Unnikrishnan, Mr. Suresh P. M., Ms. Greeshma G., Ms. Jubairiya Firoz, Ms. Athira M. S., Dr. Aritha Prabhakaran, Dr. Anjana R., and Mr. Manukrishna K. S., covering a wide spectrum of optometric practice—ranging from refraction refinement, pediatric optometry, advanced diagnostics, specialty contact lenses, low vision aids, binocular vision, amblyopia, myopia management, and ocular prosthetics—offering practical insights and enriching discussions for all delegates.
AINAK 2025 truly reflected its theme by bridging strong clinical fundamentals with modern innovations, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
