*AIDS Day Celebration – Awareness Rally and Speech Lecture Report*

1. *Introduction*
On the occasion of World AIDS Day, Dr. Deepak Patil Ayurvedic Medical College, Borpadale organized an Awareness Rally and Speech Lecture under the guidance of the Swasthavritta Department. The programme aimed to educate the community about HIV/AIDS, its prevention, and the importance of eliminating stigma. Both students and teachers actively participated to spread the message of health, awareness, and responsibility.
2. Objectives of the Programme
To observe World AIDS Day and spread awareness in the community.
To educate people about HIV transmission, prevention, and available treatment options.
To remove misconceptions and stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.
To encourage youth participation in public health and community outreach.

Participants: UG Students, Interns, and Teaching Staff
Route: College Campus → Nearby Village/Market → Return to Campus
Materials Used: Posters, banners, placards, red ribbon badges

During the rally, students interacted with local people and explained basic facts about HIV prevention, safe practices, and the importance of testing.
4. Speech Lecture Programme
After the rally, a formal lecture session was held in the college hall.
