An insightful session on Mudra — the subtle art of energy channeling through hand gestures — was conducted by Dr. Shalini Thakur, Lecturer, Department of Swasthavritta, for BAMS 2nd Prof students (Batch 2022–23).

Mudras help harmonize the Pancha Mahabhutas (five elements) within the body, bringing balance to the mind, body, and prana.

In this session, students practised
✨ Yoni Mudra — derived from the word ‘Yoni’, meaning womb, source, or origin of creation; it symbolizes returning to one’s inner stillness, reflecting the calm and creative energy of the womb.
🌬️ Prana Mudra — the gesture of life force, awakens vitality and strengthens energy flow.
🌸 Shanmukhi Mudra — the six-faced gesture, withdraws the senses inward, fostering deep peace and meditation.

🧘‍♀️ A glimpse into the healing rhythm of breath, gesture, and awareness — uniting the outer and inner self. 🌸
