🌈 HAPPY & SAFE HOLI 🌈
Skin First - Celebrate Smart this Holi!

On this special occasion of , when the air is filled with colours, happiness and togetherness, let us remember one simple thing - celebration is important, but your skin is equally important.

Holi is a festival of joy. At AIIMS Patna, we are always there to guide you on what is good for your health. Through this special message, Dr. Swetalina Pradhan, Associate Professor & Head, Department of , AIIMS Patna, shares simple and practical tips so that your Holi remains happy - not harmful.

Many colours available in the market contain strong chemicals. These hard colours can stay on the skin for many days and may cause rashes, itching, pigmentation or allergies - especially in children and people who already have skin problems like eczema or psoriasis.

Before stepping out to play Holi:
- Apply a good moisturizer or sunscreen on face and exposed areas.
- Apply oil on your scalp and hair to reduce damage.
- Prefer soft gulal instead of hard colours.

Avoid harsh scrubbing to remove colours. It can injure your skin and cause dark patches. If you notice redness, itching or any reaction, do not try home remedies - consult a dermatologist.

Let colours spread happiness, not skin problems.

Celebrate with care. Protect your skin. Choose safe colours.

AIIMS Patna wishes everyone a Very Happy & Safe Holi!
