Cervical pedicle screw is biomechanically more stronger construct than commonly used lateral mass screw construct

Needs anatomical knowledge, proper landmarks for screw insertion and skill to execute because laterally there is vertebral artery and medially the spinal cord leaving behind narrow corridor of safety.

Cervical injury with cord injury treated by decompression and cervical pedicle screw and fixation.
