We are truly pleased to share a very meaningful experience from World Heart Day. Yesterday, on this special occasion, we were entrusted with a very critical case, a patient suffering from a severe heart attack. By the mercy of Allah and the dedicated efforts of our Cardiologist Mustafa Bashir Sir & the entire team, we were able to save that life. Of course, saving lives is not something new for us. It is what we strive for every single day. But yesterday was different. It was World Heart Day, a day dedicated to spreading awareness about heart health, prevention, and timely care. To be able to perform a complex procedure and give a patient another chance at life on this very day felt like destiny’s way of reminding us why we do what we do. This case was not easy. It required teamwork, precision, and quick decision making. It reminded us that while machines and medicines play their role, it is the skill, dedication, and compassion of a united team that makes the real difference. World Heart Day is more than just a date on the calendar—it is a call to action. It reminds us that every heartbeat is precious, every patient is someone’s family, and every effort counts. Yesterday, we didn’t just treat a patient, we celebrated life, resilience, and the spirit of never giving up North End Hospital. ❤️

At North End Hospital, we are continuously striving to introduce new concepts and specialized services for the benefit of our community. From this Friday onward, after 4:00 pm, a Pain Management Physician, Dr. Hinanna Birjees, will be available at our hospital.
This is a new concept in Kashmir, as pain management is often overlooked. Many patients suffer from different kinds of pain ,whether it is post-surgical pain, joint pain, back pain, migraine, nerve-related pain, or even long-term chronic pain. Pain management offers modern techniques and therapies that not only reduce suffering but also improve quality of life. By bringing in this facility, North End Hospital is taking another step toward providing holistic and patient-centered care. We hope this initiative will bring great relief to those who silently suffer with pain every day.
We welcome Dr. Hinanna Birjees and look forward to the positive change her expertise will bring for our patients.
