Sushrut Hospital Phaltan ,The hospital for Orthopedics ,Trauma, Laparoscopic-Surgery, Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy and Sports medicine is sophisticated and advance medical institute was started on 10/9/1989 in a small town to serve the needy and under-privileged patients who where far away from such modern and advance medical treatment at that time, such treatment was available only in Pune and not even the district place like Satara. The beneficiaries where from Phaltan , Baramati , Akluj , Man , Khatav , Khandala Tashils , from Satara , Pune , Solapur district. In 2007 State Government of Maharashtra had recognized Sushrut Hospital ,Phaltan is the only recognized Joint replacement center for Satara district., proud moment in the history of Sushrut Hospital ,Phaltan. In 2007 World Health Organization and London University of Health had recognized Sushrut Hospital ,Phaltan as one of the Hospital out of only twenty hospitals in India for Innovative new life saving drug trial for the patients of accidental traumatic haemorrhages. Again International recognition for Sushrut Hospitals academic excellence and world standard medical practices.

10 year boy having Congenital Bowing of Tibia with 2.5 cm shortening Rt lower limb from Gondawale , village nearby came with bad limp while walk and lost happy smile of childhood.
Dept.of Bio-Orthopedics.SUSHRUT HOSPITAL, Phaltan is happy to give back the happy innocent smile of childhood to this boy ! With use in advance surgical technique “ ILIZAROVE ( Russian ) Surgery performed for limb lengthening to make short limb equal to normal one!
It was very encouragement for us to see this boy was attending school all the course of treatment of 4 months wearing ILIZAROVE apparatus on his leg happily..! 😘!
