Beyond happy and truly honored to have been invited as faculty for the first SKICON Annual Congress — a closed-group gathering of some of India’s finest knee surgeons.

It was a privilege to learn from and brainstorm with brilliant minds and skilled hands like Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, Dr. Parag Sancheti, and Dr. Sachin Tapaswi. I also thoroughly enjoyed sharing my thoughts and experiences alongside Dr. Savyasachi Thakkar and the rest of the esteemed faculty.

A delightful surprise was getting the chance to catch up with my old friend Dr. Tarun Goyal, as well as reconnecting with Dr. Sachin Kale.

The cherry on the cake were the outstanding plenary lectures — especially from Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, who continues to redefine sports-injury care for India’s elite athletes, and Dr. Nageshwar Reddy (Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan), an inspiring entrepreneur and an extraordinary human being.

In short, an unmissable event. Grateful to have been invited, and happy to contribute to advancing the field of Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy.

Joint preservation is our motto!
Sharing an arthroscopy video of a young man who lived with an untreated ACL injury for 5 years. He came to us with significant instability and pain.

Arthroscopy revealed a complete ACL tear along with a major medial meniscus ramp lesion (Thannaut Type 5). We performed a thorough and stable arthroscopic repair.

He’s recovering well and is expected to return to sports soon!
