🌿 Towards Self Perfection – A Four-Day Integral Yoga Workshop

Sri Aurobindo Society is delighted to announce the upcoming monthly workshop under AuroYajna – UDITAM, its dedicated vertical for Integral Yoga.

🗓 2–5 March 2026
⏰ 06.00 am – 07.30 am IST (Morning practices only)
📍 Online via Zoom & On campus at MatriNiketan, Puducherry

This month’s focus:
“Yogāsana, Yoganidra & Prāṇāyāma for Body, Mind & Life Force”
Designed in the Light of Integral Yoga, this hands-on workshop supports both individual and collective well-being. Daily practices will include Yogāsana, Prāṇāyāma, followed by Rotation of Consciousness (Chetna Jaagruti).

On 21st of February 2028, we will be celebrating The Mother’s 150th Darshan day. As an offering to this great Spiritual event, UDITAM and AuroYajna begins a new series of workshop ‘Listening to the Body – A Psychic Samvād’ by Mother’s Grace.
With the blessings of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo, we seek to explore the physical domain of energy in Their Light. The physical being is the Aadhar of all ranges and types of energies. We sincerely believe that greater attention to the body and its well-being is essential for integral growth. To cultivate deeper awareness of the physical among individuals, we present this new series, “Listening to the Body – A Psychic Samvād.”

It is important to note that Sri Aurobindo’s principles of integral education focus on the development of the whole being — physical, vital, mental, psychic, and spiritual — through self-perfection. As stated in Sri Aurobindo’s philosophy on integral education: “Of all the domains of human consciousness, the physical is the one most completely governed by method, order, discipline, process. The lack of plasticity and receptivity in matter has to be replaced by a detailed organisation that is both precise and comprehensive.”

The Mother has said: “For the body, to know means to be able to do. In fact the body knows only what it can do.” (Words of the Mother–II > The Body (the Physical))
