Dear colleagues,
Laparoscopic surgery in children has become routine now. Due to its definite advantages, less pain, less trauma, less hospital stay, less wound complications & almost scar less. Recently, I did LAPAROSCOPIC NEPHROURETERECTOMY in a 3-year child. The indication was non functional left kidney due to severe vesico ureteric obstruction.

Dear colleagues.
Hydronephrosis in infants due to UPJ obstruction is the commonest cause leading to renal damage . Dismembered pyeloplasty is the treatment for significant PUJ obstruction . Laparoscopic pyeloplasty is now becoming standard modality over open surgical method . It has definite advantage as minimally invasive with less trauma, no scar, no wound complications, less hospital stay and quicker recovery . Recently I did laparoscopic pyeloplasty in a 6 month old child .
