Prevailing hot and dry weather is congenial for growth and development of mite. All farmers are advised to have a look around their orchards and if mite population is more than 50 per leaf then please go for spraying of acaricide recommended by Skaust-k during early hours of the day before 9:00 am.
Horticulture mineral oil or neem oil is also recommended for control of mite.
Some areas of Tahab block are found to be infested by the spider mite.
