🌸 Hinduism has a rich tapestry of various manifestations of the Devi or Supreme Mother. Each manifestation is a symbol which is created to lead us towards a spiritual and materialistically fulfilling life.

🌸 Annapurna Jayanti is celebrated on the Purnima tithi of the hindu month Margshirsha. In 2025, it falls on the 4th December.

🌸 Devi Annapurna is the Saumya or calmer manifestation of Devi Parvati. She is associated with cooking, kitchen, and cooked food. She blesses her devotees with prosperity and abundance.

🌸 Worshipping Devi Annapurna gives the food a divine blessing which enhances its taste, nutritious quotient, and reduces wastage. This is the reason she is invoked daily in millions of Hindu kitchens before preparing food.

🌸 Devi Annapurna is also called upon before cooking a grand spread so the food doesn't fall short, and everybody leaves satisfied.

🌸 The incarnation of Devi Annapurna reminds us that all women who slog daily in the kitchen are worthy of appreciation and gratitude for their selfless labour. The story of Annapurna Jayanti is a token of the importance of food, cooking, and their role in our day-to-day sustenance.

🔱 In Hinduism, spirituality and astrology are closely connected. All the Gods and Goddesses have an alignment with a certain planet. Worshipping that God or Goddess helps to remove the malefic effects of weak planets in our birth chart.

🔱 Dasa Mahavidya are fierce forms of Hindu goddesses who are known to grant special boons to their devotees. They are known as the feminine energy of the fierce form of Lord Shiva, Kaal Bhairav. Their worship can remove even major malefic effects of planets.

🔱 We celebrate Bhairavi Jayanti on the Purnima tithi of Margashisha Maas. In the year 2025, we celebrate it on 4th December.

🔱 Maa Bhairavi is the fifth Mahavidya, known to be fiercer than Mahakali. She is the Shakti that embodies destruction of negativity, ego and ignorance. In Vedic Astrology, she controls the lagna/ascendent rising in the birth chart.

🔱 Devi Bhairavi blesses her devotees with courage, discipline, and unwavering focus. Her story of emergence is equally fascinating.

🔱 Awaken your inner power with the blessings of Maa Bhairavi. Lead with courage, clarity, and conviction.

🪷 Among the Dashavatars, Matsya Dwadashi is dedicated to Lord Vishnu’s first incarnation — the divine Matsya Avatar. He appeared to restore cosmic balance and protect the sacred Vedas from destruction.

🪷 As per the Hindu calendar, we celebrate the divine day on the Shukla Dwadashi tithi of Margashirsha maas. As per Gregorian calendar, it is celebrated on the 2nd December 2025.

🪷 Matsya Avatar is the story of Lord Vishnu appearing as a divine fish to save the world during pralaya - the ultimate cosmic destruction. He warned King Manu, guided his boat through the deluge, and restored the stolen Vedas, protecting creation and preserving wisdom.

🪷On this day, devotees wake up early, take a sacred bath, worship lord Vishnu, chant Vishnu stotram and donate essentials. Many people also keep a fast for abundance, protection and prosperity.

🪷 This sacred day encourages us to embrace clarity, truth, and spiritual awakening, sailing forward with trust and devotion.

🔸 The spiritually significant Mokshada Ekadashi/ Guruvayur Ekadashi, observed in Margashirsha during the Shukla Paksha, will take place on 1st December 2025 this year.

🔸 The term “Moksha” stands for “spiritual liberation.” Hence, according to sacred Hindu texts, observing this day opens the gates of Vaikuntha for all devotees of Lord Vishnu.

🔸 On this day, Lord Krishna had imparted the divine teachings of Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Hence, people celebrate this day as “Gita Jayanti.”

🔸 Many people observe a Mauna Vrat on this occasion, choosing to remain in complete silence throughout the day to calm the mind and connect deeply with their inner self.

🔸 On this day, rice, certain lentils, brinjal, and all tamasic foods like meat, alcohol, onion and garlic are strictly avoided.

🔸 Devotees consume Bel leaves and worship Lord Krishna, Lord Ganesha, Mata Lakshmi and Shri Hari, while in the pilgrimage town of Guruvayur, the sacred Ekadasi Vilakku lamps are lit.

🔸 The legend of Mokshada Ekadashi tells how King Vaikhaanasa freed his father from naraka by observing this vrat , proving that this auspicious day grants liberation and blessings from Lord Vishnu.

🔸 Vivah Panchami, commemorated on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Margashirsha, marks the divine marriage of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. This year we celebrate it on the 25th of November 2025.

🔸 This day celebrates divine love and virtue, reminding devotees of the sacred ideals of commitment, devotion, and righteousness embodied by Lord Rama and Goddess Sita.

🔸 The legend of Vivah Panchami tells the story of how Lord Rama, during Sita’s Swayamvar in Mithila, broke Lord Shiva’s divine bow to win her hand in marriage — a timeless symbol of courage, devotion, and eternal love.

🔸 This occasion is celebrated with grand devotion in Ayodhya and Janakpur through Ram Vivah Utsav, processions, pujas, and recitations of Ramayana.

🔸 Observing Vivah Panchami brings divine blessings, spiritual peace, and harmony in relationships while honoring the eternal love of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita.

🔸 Despite its sanctity, Vivah Panchami is not considered auspicious for weddings, as it commemorates the trials and separation faced by Lord Rama and Mata Sita after their divine union.

Sankranti is a monthly phenomenon where the Sun transits from one sign to another zodiac sign or rashi.

Every Sankranti triggers various outcomes due to the constant planetary transits. When the Sun transits the eighth sign of the rashi mandala - Scorpio, that is when we observe Vruschik Sankranti.

Scorpio/Vruschik rashi is considered as dense energy due to its association with hidden realms, psychological depths, underground forces, and transformative research-oriented tendencies

When the Sun, the supreme luminary, enters the darkest sign, it creates a synergy between two opposite energies triggering transformations.

Vrishchik Sankranti is a time of transformation. Time to shed karmic baggage, let go of anything that weighs you down and carry on with our journey ahead with renewed clarity and purpose.

Recommendation by Smt. Ekktaa :
Let this time be one of meaningful introspection and inner growth. Honour your lineage and explore the wisdom carried through your roots.
Explore the quiet space within you. It may uncover the dimensions of depthness that could be meaningful and transformative.

PS : “Sharing this transit update a little later than planned—yet perfectly aligned with the kala (divine timing) it was meant to carry.”

🔸 Kaal Bhairav Jayanti celebrates the birth of Lord Bhairav, the fierce avatar of Mahadeva and the Hindu God of Time. It is considered the most auspicious when it occurs on a Tuesday or Sunday. However, this year, it's on the 12th of November 2025, Wednesday.

🔸 The Sanskrit word “Bhī” means fear, and “rava” means sound or cry. Hence, Bhairava signifies “the one who is beyond fear” or “the one who removes fear.” It reflects Lord Shiva’s fierce form that destroys negativity and guides devotees toward courage and inner strength.

🔸 According to one legend, when Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu argued over superiority, Lord Shiva manifested as Kaal Bhairav to humble Brahma’s arrogance, cutting off his fifth head and later becoming the guardian deity of Kashi as penance towards the dosha of Brahmahatya, where devotees worship him as the city’s divine protector.

🔸 Another tale says that after Goddess Kali destroyed the demon Dahurasuran, her fury gave birth to a child, leading to the creation of the eight Bhairavas and eight Matrikas — together forming 64 Bhairavas and 64 Yoginis, symbolizing divine power and balance in the universe.

🔸 In another story, after Goddess Sati’s self-immolation at Daksha’s Yagna, Lord Shiva appeared as Kaal Bhairav and severed Daksha’s head, becoming the fierce protector of all Shakti Peethas and the guardian of divine justice.

🔸 On Kaal Bhairav Jayanti, devotees observe fasts, offer prayers, food, and symbolic offerings (like liquor) to Lord Bhairav, honour dogs as his vahana, and celebrate with midnight worship and special rituals at temples like Ujjain and Kashi.

🔸 People also chant the Kalabhairava Ashtakam, composed by Adi Shankaracharya. It's an eight-verse hymn praising Lord Kaal Bhairav as the protector of Kashi, destroyer of sins, guardian of righteousness, and bestower of peace, prosperity, and liberation.
