Chocolate Almond butter

Chocolate almond butter is a healthy take on a quick breakfast during a busy morning. This buuter has goodness of almonds which is rich in vitamin E, protein, calcium, MUFA and loaded with anti oxidants. Make this wonderful paste beforehand, store it in your pantry or refrigerator and use it whenever required. You can even add it your milk for a delicious flavour or even enjoy it as such.
Ingredients :
Almonds – ¼ cup
Jaggery powder – 1 tsp
Cocoa powder – 1 tsp
Cardamon, cinnamon powder – a pinch each

Recipe card:
Dry roast the almonds in a pan.
In a blender add in all the ingredients and give it a good blend until it becomes a buttery mass.
Apply it your toast and mix to your glass of hot milk and serve!!!

Protein Dosa

Protein Dosa or Multi grain dosa(Adai dosa), also known as Multi grain Indian crepes is a delicious and nutritious South Indian delicacy made with a variety of multigrain lentils, including rice, urad dal, chana dal, toor dal, moong dal, and dried red chilies, asafoetida, and fresh vegetables.

Ingredients required:

Chana dal - 1cup
Toor dal- ½ cup
Moong dal- ½ cup
Urad dal- ½ cup
Raw rice- 1 cup
Grated vegetables(carrots/beetroots/cabbage)- 1.5-2 cups
Garlic 4-5 pods
Red chillies dried- 4-5
Spices: Jeera,Saunf,Peppercorns – a tsp each
Tamarind- 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Hing- a pinch

Recipe card:

To a blender add all the ingredients except veggies and grind to a coarse batter by adding some water.
Add grated vegetables to the batter.
Heat an iron dosa tawa.
To the oil greased tawa, add and spread the batter.
Flip and cook both sides.
Serve with chutney of your choice or with jaggery and butter.

Rainbow Poha

Colourful and Nutritious Rainbow Poha!
Rainbow Poha is a delightful and nourishing twist on the traditional poha dish, adding a burst of colours and flavours to your breakfast. The best part about this recipe is that you can tailor it to your preferences by using a variety of vegetables, making it not only visually appealing but also packed with essential nutrients. This dish has become a favourite breakfast option in Indian households.
Ingredients:
1 cup Poha (Flattened Rice, washed and drained)
½ cup Chopped Onions
1 cup Chopped Carrots
½ cup Chopped Beans
½ cup Chopped Capsicum
1-2 Green Chillies
A few Curry Leaves
¼ cup Roasted Peanuts
Salt, to taste
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Urad Dal
Cooking oil, as needed
Instructions:
Heat a pan or tawa and add oil. Then, add the mustard seeds and urad dal, allowing them to sizzle and release their aroma.
Next, toss in the green chillies and curry leaves, infusing the oil with their delightful flavours.
Add the chopped onions and cook them until they turn translucent, filling your kitchen with a mouthwatering aroma.
Gradually add the chopped vegetables one by one, allowing them to cook halfway, ensuring they retain their vibrant colours and nutritional value.
Sprinkle some salt and turmeric powder to enhance the taste and add a lovely golden hue to the dish.
Now, gently incorporate the washed and drained poha into the mixture, ensuring every grain gets coated with the flavourful blend of spices and veggies.
Give the poha a good mix, making sure all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Cover the pan and let the poha cook for a couple of minutes, allowing the flavours to meld and the ingredients to become tender.
Finally, add the roasted peanuts for a delightful crunch and added protein.
Your Rainbow Poha is now ready to be served.
