The key to balance your hormones and PCOS is to consume balanced meals which means consuming all three, carbohydrates, proteins and fats in a certain proportion and not ignoring any of the food group.

This is very important to maintain stable blood sugar levels, which will ultimately help you fight your insulin resistance and help you balance your hormones.

Do not fall in the trap of low carbs, and only protein and fat diet. This will damage your body in the long- term.

Please understand PCOS is a hormonal disorder and not the weight disorder. Excess weight can increase the symptoms of PCOS, but cannot be the cause of it.

PCOS is a lifestyle disorder which needs to be addressed from the root cause and not just by loosing excess weight. You need to analyse your particular root cause of your PCOS and address it accordingly.

Do you know your periods are also known as vital sign to evaluate your health condition? They say a lot about your health.

It has been proven in many clinical studies that the pattern of periods, their onset, the behaviour during periods talk a lot. It has been said that if you identify abnormal menstrual pattern in adolescents, then you can prevent future health conditions during adulthood.

For example, if you have painful periods, it might be because of endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, or some other underlying problem.

We need to address the root cause of the problem like your body might be storing excess estrogen which is the cause of all this. The root cause of each problem and for everyone is different.

I have seen most of my clients didn't ever notice that their periods give them a lot signs that need urgent attention.

We have gone through so much of period discomfort in our lives that we have forgotten our natural, normal periods.

I have compiled this list of questions that you need to ask yourself to understand whether your period symptoms are normal or not.

Assign each question 1 point. So, for a yes in answer, assign 1 point and add the points of all the answers. If your score is more than 4, you need to pay attention to your periods, and if it is more than 6, then your periods need urgent attention.
