REDO® Surface Disinfection fulfills EPA / US standards for HOSPITAL DISINFECTANTS

EPA (US) classifies three types of disinfectants: limited, general and hospital disinfectants (details see below). For the highest class of hospital disinfectants a disinfectant must prove efficacy against the three reference germs: Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

REDO® Disinfection has proven its efficacy against Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in many tests, many countries and always with short contact times. The picture below shows an Indian NABL lab test on REDO® Surface Disinfection for these three reference germs.

EPA / US Classification for Disinfectants:

• LIMITED - A disinfectant that is effective against only a specific major group of microorganisms (such as gram-positive [e.g., Staphylococcus aureus] or gram-negative [e.g., Salmonella enterica] bacteria) is considered to be a limited disinfectant.

• GENERAL OR BROAD-SPECTRUM – A disinfectant that is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella enterica) is considered to be a general or broad spectrum disinfectant. General or broad spectrum disinfectants have a wide variety of uses in residential, commercial, institutional, and other sites.

• HOSPITAL - A disinfectant that is a general or broad-spectrum disinfectant and also is effective against the nosocomial bacterial pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a Hospital disinfectant. These disinfectants are generally for use in hospitals, clinics, dental offices, or other health care related facilities.

In thanks to a private initiative from the Aerospace sector, Inwasol India donates surface disinfection to the Hospital of Deolali Cantonment Board, a municipal body under Ministry of Defence, Government of India, in Nashik area.
The hospital has treated more than 3500 patients, all free of cost.
It was selected among top 03 hospitals out of 62 Cantonment Board Hospitals for Raksha Mantri (Defence Minster) Award for excellence in Covid-19 treatment in 2020. The Cantonment Board General Hospital is functioning as Dedicated Covid Care Hospital since April 2020.
We are happy to contribute a bit to the excellent work of this hospital and its people.

Today Mr Chandrakant Bacchu Patil, Maharashtra State President of BJP - alongwith Navnath Jadhav, Corporator - and Inwasol India - with the friendly support of Prakash Rao - donated REDO Surface Disinfectant to government and private hospitals.
Since the second Corona wave has started in India, Inwasol India donates surface disinfectant, manufactured locally in Pune with German REDO Technology, to Hospitals an Covid Care Centres, aiming to contribute its part to the fight against the virus.
This works only in a fast and unbureaucratic way with the help and support of others. We want to say: Thank You! to all who enabled the initiative today.

Yesterday a new Covid Care Centre from Rotary Club Pune and J.P. Trivedi Memorial Trust has been opened. This extraordinary initiative enables 75 new Oxygen Beds and a Quarantine Centre in Pune, as an area which is hardly hit by the second Corona wave.

With special thanks to Kirti Bhansali from Rotary Club Pune Katraj, Inwasol India can contribute to this new Covid Centre. In relation with the inauguration ceremony Inwasol India donated the first delivery of surface disinfection and will go on supplying surface disinfection to this new Centre - as long as it exists.
