Here are some glimpses of our activities in May 2025 -
1st May 2025 – Movie Meeting Gulkand
On the occasion of Maharashtra Day, our club organized a delightful movie meeting featuring the comedy film “Gulkand.” Members thoroughly enjoyed the light-hearted entertainment and the joyous atmosphere.
The event also included a warm fellowship session, providing an excellent opportunity for members to connect and celebrate together.
A special thanks to the Admin Team for their excellent organization and seamless ex*****on of this enjoyable gathering.
2nd May 2025 – Meeting with Garware College team for CSR funding
Dr. Amit Deokule organized a productive meeting with Tanuja Devi from Garware College and representatives of Sambhav Foundation to discuss potential Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The meeting was attended by Rtn Swati Yadav, PP Hemant Puranik, and President Rtn Nilesh Dhopade, who actively participated in exploring collaborative opportunities for impactful social projects.
This engagement marks an important step towards strengthening partnerships that can amplify our club’s contribution to community development and sustainable change.
2nd May 2025 – Felicitation of Digambar Durgade
Rotary Club proudly felicitated Digambar Durgade, Chairman of PDCC Bank, in recognition of his generous donation towards the success of Rotary Green Expo 2025.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by Rtn Keshav Tamanhkar, PP Hemant Puranik, and Rtn Promod Achyut, who expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the club.
This valuable support significantly contributed to advancing our environmental initiatives, and the club looks forward to continuing such fruitful partnerships in the future.
4th May 2025 – Breakfast meeting with Foundation Day celebration Team
Following the successful celebration of the 11th Foundation Day, our President graciously hosted a special treat for all the members who actively participated in the event.
The gathering was filled with joy and camaraderie, as each participant expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the program. The collective appreciation and positive feedback from the members reflected the event’s meaningful impact and the strong spirit of fellowship within our club.
A big thank you to our President for this thoughtful gesture that further strengthened our bonds and celebrated our shared achievements.
9th May 2025 – Solidarity meeting with Aseem Foundation.
Rtn Sarang Gosavi took the initiative to organize a heartfelt meeting at Chaturshringi Temple to pay tribute and show solidarity with the brave soldiers fighting in the ongoing conflict against Pakistan.
In this critical time, Sarang reached out to various social organizations, inviting them to join in a candle-lighting vigil as a mark of respect and support for our armed forces. The gathering reflected the unity and patriotism of the community standing together in these challenging times.
This solemn event underscored the spirit of service beyond the club, reminding us all of our collective responsibility to honor and support those who protect our nation.
9th May 2025 - Interaction with ALF Rtn Pallavi Sable
Rtn Pallavi Sable recently delivered a very insightful and straightforward presentation for our members, focusing on key aspects of Rotary participation and engagement. Her talk covered important topics such as:
Why Join Rotary?
What is My Role in Rotary?
Why Donate to The Rotary Foundation?
The presentation was well-received, offering clarity and inspiration to both new and existing members. Attendees appreciated the simplicity and relevance of the session, which helped deepen their understanding of Rotary’s values and the impact of their involvement.

11th May 2025 – Meeting with Synergy partner of Magic of Spirituality program.
A focused planning meeting was recently organized by the host club – Rotary Club of Poona North, in preparation for the upcoming program “Happy Thoughts – The Magic of Spirituality.”
The meeting was attended by Presidents and representatives of all synergy partner clubs, coming together with a shared vision to ensure the success of this meaningful initiative under Rotary’s thrust area of Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution.
During the discussion, responsibilities were clearly defined, and the agenda for the event was reviewed in detail. From program flow to logistics, and publicity to hospitality, every aspect was thoughtfully covered to ensure a seamless experience for all participants.
The collaborative spirit and active involvement of all partner clubs truly reflected the essence of Rotary fellowship and teamwork. Together, we look forward to delivering an inspiring and spiritually enriching experience for all.
13th May 2025 – 11th BOD at Ashok Lele’s residence
The recent Board of Directors (BOD) meeting was graciously hosted by Rtn Rajani Swamy and Rtn Ashok Lele at their residence, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for meaningful discussions.
During the meeting, all Directors presented updates on the activities conducted over the past month, sharing progress, outcomes, and plans for the upcoming weeks. The presentations reflected the club’s dedication and the collective effort behind every initiative.
The meeting concluded on a delightful note with a heartwarming fellowship, allowing members to connect informally and strengthen bonds over great conversations and refreshments.

16th May 2025 – Final Trust meeting of RY2024-25
In a recent meeting, President Rtn Nilesh Dhopade and Treasurer Rtn Rohit Phadnis presented a comprehensive summary of all projects completed during Rotary Year 2024-25. The presentation highlighted the impactful initiatives undertaken by the club across various avenues of service, reflecting strong planning, ex*****on, and financial discipline.
Following the presentation, the Board of Trustees held a detailed discussion on the pending and proposed projects. After careful review, the trustees extended their support and formally approved the pending initiatives, paving the way for their smooth ex*****on in the coming months.
This meeting marked an important milestone in ensuring transparency, alignment, and continuity in the club’s service efforts.
Kudos to the leadership team for their clarity and commitment, and sincere thanks to the Trustees for their thoughtful guidance and timely approvals.
17th May 2025 – Chitale Factory Ranje unit visit
A Delicious Experience – Visit to Chitale Factory, Ranje Unit
The much-awaited visit to the Chitale Factory – Ranje Unit was successfully organized and efficiently managed by Rtn Shrikant Chaphekar. This unique outing gave our members an inside look at the fascinating process behind the making of Bakarwadi and a variety of sweets, for which the Chitale brand is famously loved.
From automated precision to traditional recipes, the tour offered a perfect blend of innovation and heritage. Members were thoroughly engaged as they witnessed the meticulous steps involved in production – right from preparation to packaging.
A special word of appreciation goes to the Chitale team, whose warm hospitality and detailed explanations made the experience both informative and enjoyable.
The visit ended on a sweet note, quite literally, as our members left with smiles, insights, and a deeper appreciation for the effort behind every bite of Chitale delicacies.

25th May 2025 – Happy Thoughts MANAN Ashram visit
The Magic of Spirituality – A Journey Within Under Rotary’s Peacebuilding Thrust 🕊️✨
Under Rotary International’s thrust area of Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution, a soulful and thought-provoking program titled “The Magic of Spirituality” was recently organized by a collective of 9 Rotary clubs, with Rotary Club of Poona North as the host.
The event witnessed large-scale participation from Rotarians and their families, all eager to explore the deeper dimensions of inner peace and harmony. The highlight of the program was an enlightening session by the revered SirShree, whose powerful insights and practical wisdom deeply resonated with the audience.
Held in a serene and reflective setting, the session served as a gentle yet impactful reminder of how spiritual awareness can serve as a bridge to peace – both within and around us.
Adding to the warmth of the event, MANAN Ashram graciously arranged a wholesome lunch for all attending members – an act of true hospitality that reflected the spirit of community and care.
Kudos to RC Poona North and all partner clubs for curating such a meaningful experience, reminding us all of the transformative power of spirituality in building peace.
26th May 2025 – Review with DG & AG.
President Rtn Nilesh Dhopade and FL Ann Amita Dhopade Attend Review Meeting at DG Office – A Moment of Appreciation and Pride 🌟
President Rtn Nilesh Dhopade and First Lady Ann Amita Dhopade recently visited the District Governor's office to attend the Zone 6 – Region 32 Presidents’ Review Meeting.
The meeting, chaired by District Governor Rtn Sh*tal Shah and Assistant Governor Rtn Priyanka Karnik, served as a platform to evaluate the ongoing progress and initiatives undertaken by clubs in the region.
We are proud to share that DG Sh*tal Shah and AG Priyanka Karnik highly appreciated the impactful work and leadership demonstrated by President Nilesh Dhopade. His focused efforts, commitment to meaningful service projects, and inclusive approach towards club activities were acknowledged with warmth and encouragement.
This recognition is a reflection of the collective efforts of Team RCP Wisdom and our shared vision of Service Above Self. Kudos to our President and First Lady for representing the club with such grace and dedication!
27th May 2025 – Shaswat Bharat Setu Certificate handover.
We are proud to share that President Rtn Nilesh Dhopade received the Certificate of Participation at the recently held Shaswat Bharat Setu Exhibition, a unique and inspiring initiative celebrating India’s cultural, social, and historical heritage.
This special exhibition saw the enthusiastic participation of 13 Rotary clubs, coming together to showcase the spirit of unity, service, and national pride. The event was thoughtfully organised by Rotary Club of Pune Uptown, and served as a wonderful platform for clubs to connect and contribute to a collective Rotary cause.
RCP Wisdom’s presence in this event, led by President Nilesh Dhopade, added great value to the exhibition and highlighted our club’s ongoing commitment to impactful community engagement and cultural awareness.

29th May 2025 – Rotary Flag exchange by Rtn Shweta Shenolikar at Kolmar France
We are delighted to share that the Shenolikar family recently visited Europe and represented our club with great pride and warmth. During their memorable journey, they had the honour of participating in a Rotary flag exchange in Kolmar France – a moment that truly reflects the spirit of global Rotary fellowship.
Carrying our club’s banner across borders, the Shenolikar family not only fostered international goodwill but also strengthened our connection with fellow Rotarians worldwide. This proud exchange serves as a symbol of unity, friendship, and Rotary values that transcend boundaries.

30th May 2025 – Last Shukrangam meeting at Sevabhavan
What an Ultimate Experience!
Saaj – Live in Concert was truly a musical delight! The incredible Sameep Kulkarni on sitar, Aniruddha Deshpande on tabla, and Ajharuddin Shaikh on flute created magic on stage. Each performance was soul-stirring and nothing short of paise vasool!
A heartfelt thanks to all the President's of Shukrangam for organizing such a mesmerizing evening, and special thanks to Radha Gokhale for initiating this program. We all enjoyed a lot!
31st May 2025 - Bawarchi Day celebration at Kakade City Club House.
Bawarchi Day 2025 turned out to be a delightful celebration of flavours, talent, and togetherness! Held at the vibrant Kakade City Club House, the event was a perfect blend of laughter, joy, and amazing tastes. All our Bawarchis received much appreciation, with special applause for Akash Mahajan, who treated us to a brand-new dish.
Prepared with skill and love, the delicious food served by our chefs truly delighted everyone – especially all the beautiful ladies of the club! Each participant presented their culinary art wholeheartedly.
The evening was made even more enchanting by soulful music! Anand Kulkarni, Sachin Mahajan, Prasanna Navathe, Kishor Potnis, and Sachin Neurgaonkar mesmerized everyone with their melodious singing.
Then came the fashion show – with confident ramp walks by both the boys and girls, it was undoubtedly the icing on the cake!
And finally… a high-energy group dance to the song “Sairat Zala Ji” took the evening to its peak – everyone joined in spontaneously and celebrated with full enthusiasm!
A heartfelt thank you to all members who attended and actively participated in making this evening so memorable!
