RCP Wisdom – January 2026 Report
“A Promising Beginning to a Purposeful Year”
The year 2026 commenced on an enthusiastic and meaningful note for RCP Wisdom, setting the tone for fellowship, leadership development, and impactful service initiatives.
🌟 New Year & Fellowship
The Rotary family welcomed the New Year with warmth and camaraderie during the New Year celebration and return journey from Nagaon on 1st January, strengthening bonds of fellowship and togetherness.
🏛️ Leadership & Club Administration
On Friday, 9th January, an indoor meeting was held at Gandhi Bhavan Hall, marked by the BOD declaration of PE Rtn. Prashaant Aklekar for Rotary Year 2026–27.
The evening witnessed active participation, followed by a special and engaging session on Tarot Card Reading by Rtn. Dr. Gauri Joshi, President of RCP Westside. The session added a unique learning dimension and was well appreciated by members. Fellowship after the meeting enhanced interaction and bonding.
🌱 Service Projects – A Strong Start
January also saw impactful service initiatives aligned with Rotary’s commitment to community welfare:
On 5th January, a team led by senior Rotarians conducted Green School Project evaluations in Daund Gaon, visiting 7 schools, with many more lined up for inspection. This first service project of 2026 was inspiring and reaffirmed the club’s environmental commitment.
Under the Cherry Blossom Project (Anemia Testing), health screening of 275 students was successfully executed at a PDEA school in the Sangvi area, with support from the FPA team. The project highlighted Rotary’s focus on child health and preventive care.
Career Disha Project activities continued with book distribution to Kamshet PDEA School, contributing to educational development.
Additionally, books were distributed to 3 Interact schools and 12 PDEA schools, ensuring wider educational outreach.
🌾 Recreation & Fellowship Activities
The month also included planning for fellowship-rich activities:
Hurda Party on 18th January, an outdoor one-day trip fostering informal bonding.
AG Visit on 23rd January at Gandhi Bhavan AC Hall with special fellowship.
DG Visit on 29th January at Punyai Hall, followed by dinner, adding prestige and motivation to the club calendar.
🌸 Conclusion
January 2026 proved to be a balanced blend of leadership, service, learning, and fellowship for RCP Wisdom. With impactful projects, meaningful meetings, and enthusiastic member participation, the club has begun the year with energy, purpose, and promise.
