*Live Demo with Sandy*
*Saturday, 4th April | 5 PM – 7 PM IST | Online*
“It's one thing to talk about what is Presence Oriented Psychotherapy, what is mindfulness in psychotherapy. It's an altogether different thing to actually experience it, to witness it, and to have a felt sense of what it means to hold the therapeutic space from a sense of Presence."
So come join us for this live demo, whether you are a participant or whether you would actually like to experience a session.
We will also discuss the process and understand nuances of the visible and invisible processes that create transformation in therapy.

*Grief Listening Circle*
When I was younger, I held a sense that the world would be a certain way.
That even with its imbalances, there would be enough care, enough hope, enough love.
As I move through the world now, and take in what is unfolding around us, I notice how that sense of hope has, at times, felt distant.
This month’s Grief Listening Circle is an invitation to gently begin turning toward all of this.
Toward the grief for the world we imagined, and the reality we are living in. It could be about anything happening in the world that you find yourself grieving with.Toward what we feel, even if we don’t yet have words for it.
We will gather in a safe, non-judgmental space to listen, to share if you feel called, or simply to be.
After all, the Earth - and this experience of being human - is what we all have in common.

We just had our last session in this series of the Contemplative Reading Circle - 'Healing through the Dark Emotions : the wisdom of grief, fear, and despair' - by Miriam Greenspan. The circle was facilitated by our founder-director and psychotherapist Sandy Dias Andrade.
We are touched by the response and the quiet yet engaged coming together as a community as we read, shared and paused together in silence.
It felt like we were sitting together in a circle warming our hearts around a fire, thawing its barriers and connecting with ourselves and the world.
All that the book was pointing out to, we deeply resonate with in what we do at Just Being. Our trainings support the development of these capacities of sitting with our feelings and those of others in an attuned, embodied way with Mindfulness.

Circles of Becoming : Men listening to Men
Many of us learn to accept some parts of ourselves and quietly push others away.
Certain emotions feel easier to welcome.
Others feel harder to acknowledge.
For some it may be anger, envy, fear, or vulnerability.
For others it may even be tenderness, grief, joy, or love.
Yet all of it is part of our experience of being human.
What becomes possible when men simply listen to men, without fixing, judging, or performing?
When we speak honestly and allow what is present to be here.
*Circles of Becoming* is a space to explore this together.
A circle for men and those who identify as men who feel a longing for deeper connection, vitality, and authenticity.

Just Being Center for Mindfulness and Presence (Just Being CMP) is committed to Just Being: To inhabit, encourage and facilitate access to an inner space, a stillness, that is always present through the practice of mindfulness, compassion and inquiry.
Just Being is an initiative to encourage inhabiting `beingness; and to allow action to emerge from this space. It inquires into what it means to be fully human using awareness, love and wisdom both as the field as well as the tools. Learning, living and serving based on mindfulness, compassion and wisdom is the main offering.
Just Being Centre seeks to do so by:
•High quality training programs in Mindfulness, Presence, Compassion and Listening for mental health professionals or for those who hold spaces of listening and care. Our two flagship trainings are a one year Diploma in Mindfulness Based Counseling : Listening with Embodied Presence in collaboration with St. Mira’s College, Pune and a two year in-depth and comprehensive course in Presence Oriented Psychotherapy - Integrating Mindfulness, Compassion & Wisdom : A Non-Dual Perspective. Both these part-time courses are attended by people from all India and other countries as well. The trainings are designed by Sandy Dias Andrade, founder-director of Just Being CMP and a Mindfulness and Presence Oriented psychotherapist. She is a Certified Teacher of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) from the Center of Mindfulness, University of California, San Diego.
Offering psychotherapy and counselling to individuals and groups using integrated psycho-spiritual practices and principles in mindfulness, compassion and wisdom. We offer regular eight week MBCT programs as well as Mindfulness based Counselling using a number of modalities from talk therapy, expressive arts and Biodynamic Cranio Sacral Therapy (BCST)
•Developing centres of learning and research in the use of awareness, love and wisdom in the field of psychology. We provide opportunities for internships to psychology students and others interested in the application of mindfulness, compassion and wisdom orientations as well as learning circles and online engagement with those interested in developing a true understanding of Mindfulness and Presence from the wisdom traditions and Buddhist Philosophy as well as the psychological domains of experience. We approach it as a non-divisive and integrated way where all aspects are met and honoured from a sense of Presence. Thus we include the philosophical, psychological, spiritual and socio-cultural aspects and hold it in unison. Our approach that is reflective of many others is one that holds the universality of the mind and heart while honoring the individual process. Thus all wisdom traditions are welcomed and inquired into as well as human experiences and expressions of that unifying wisdom.
•Offering opportunities for communities to collectively grow in awareness, love and wisdom through our social projects initiative where we work with social institutions, schools and the corporate sector. We support social organizations in listening, mindfulness and in a lived expression of compassion both for self and other. We have also initiated a new social project `Dying with Grace’ to provide listening spaces to those who are dying as well as their families.
Practice groups for Mindfulness and Listening. We have regular practice circles in Pune as well as in other cities. We provide opportunities for practice. Without practice we can’t deepen much into mindfulness and therefore our endeavour is to support circles of support and practice and the joy of a `sangha’.
Mindfulness and Relational Mindfulness Retreats for individuals, families and couples is another opportunity to deepen into the practice and lived experience in relationship
