After the Diwali feast comes the Ayurvedic reset.
Festive indulgence often leaves us heavy, sluggish, and low on energy. Ayurveda’s answer is Laghu Langhan, a short practice of light, healing foods that clear toxins (āma), rekindle digestive fire (agni), and restore balance.
Here’s a simple 4-day reset plan you can follow:
🌿 Day 1 – Soups & Khichdi only (light, easy to digest)
🌿 Day 2 – Dal & rice
🌿 Day 3 – Light roti + sabji
🌿 Day 4 – Return to normal diet mindfully
Ayurvedic Tip: Avoid cream, cornflour, or heavy “trendy soups” like broccoli-almond or palak-cream. They burden digestion instead of supporting it.

What is Laghu Langhan?
Laghu Langhan is an Ayurvedic practice of gentle fasting or light eating that removes heaviness, clears toxins (āma), and rekindles digestive fire (agni).

Why do it after Diwali?
Festive feasting can overload digestion and leave you feeling sluggish. Laghu Langhan gives your system a mindful reset; it helps digest leftover āma, recalibrates metabolism, and often brings clearer focus and renewed energy for work.

How to Practise:
1–3 days, tailored to your strength.
Light, warm foods like khichdi and soups. Avoid heavy or fried foods.
Rest and listen to your body; it’s about supporting agni, not starving.
