A proud and inspiring milestone at Bharati Hospital.
On 26 February 2026, a 98-year-old patient successfully underwent a VDD-R Leadless Pacemaker implantation for bradyarrhythmia at our Cath Lab — making her the oldest patient to undergo any procedure in our Cath Lab and the oldest in India to receive this advanced intervention.
With remarkable recovery, she was discharged home within just two days — proving that age is never a barrier when expertise, advanced technology, and teamwork come together.
This achievement reflects the seamless coordination of our Cath Lab team, the dedicated care of cardiac anaesthesiologists, and the experience and skill of our cardiologists.

दिनांक २६ फेब्रुवारी २०२६ रोजी ९८ वर्षीय रुग्णावर ब्रॅडीअरिदमियाच्या उपचारासाठी VDD-R Leadless Pacemaker यशस्वीरित्या प्रत्यारोपित करण्यात आला. आमच्या कॅथ लॅबमध्ये कोणतीही प्रक्रिया पार पडलेल्या सर्वात ज्येष्ठ रुग्णांपैकी त्या ठरल्या असून, भारतातही या अत्याधुनिक प्रक्रियेचा लाभ घेणाऱ्या त्या सर्वात ज्येष्ठ रुग्ण आहेत.
