भारती हॉस्पिटलच्या गॅस्ट्रोएंटरॉलॉजी विभागात आता अत्याधुनिक Boston Scientific Spy Cholangioscope आणि Electrohydraulic Lithotripsy (EHL) मशीन उपलब्ध झाले आहे.

या आधुनिक उपकरणांच्या मदतीने मोठे व गुंतागुंतीचे पित्तनलिका (Bile duct) आणि पॅन्क्रियाटिक डक्टमधील खडे आता शस्त्रक्रिया न करता उपचार करता येतात. अलीकडच्या काळापर्यंत अशा रुग्णांना ओपन सर्जरी करावी लागत होती.

Biorad च्या CUVIS Robotic System व्दारे ऑर्थोपेडिक्स विभागाने पहिली रोबोटिक टोटल नी रिप्लेसमेंट शस्त्रक्रिया यशस्वीपणे पार पाडली. या अत्याधुनिक तंत्रज्ञानामुळे अधिक अचूक शस्त्रक्रिया करता येते. रुग्णाना याचे उत्तम परिणाम मिळतात व पारंपारिक शस्त्रक्रियेपेक्षा रुग्ण लवकर बरा होण्यास मदत होते. सदरची शस्त्रक्रिया 58 वर्ष वयाच्या रुग्णावर करण्यात आली त्यांच्या डाव्या गुडघ्याला ग्रेड ४ चा आर्थरायटीस होता.

आजारपण, ताणतणाव किंवा अकाली प्रसूतीमुळे काही वेळा मातेला आपल्या बाळासाठी आवश्यक ते पोषण देता येत नाही. अशा वेळी ह्युमन मिल्क बँक बाळासाठी जीवनदायिनी ठरते. मुकुल माधव फाउंडेशन आणि फिनोलेक्स इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड यांच्या संयुक्त उपक्रमांतर्गत भारती हॉस्पिटल येथे 3.5 लिटर क्षमतेच्या विस्तारित मिल्क बँकेचे उदघाटन गेली ४० वर्षांहून अधिक काळ थॅलेसिमीया सोसायटी बरोबर काम करणाऱ्या जस्मिन मजेठिया यांच्या हस्ते झाले. आधी ५०० मिली असलेली क्षमता आता वाढून 3.5 लिटर करण्यात आली आहे. यावेळी भारती विद्यापीठ आरोग्य विज्ञान विभागाच्या संचालिका डॉ. अस्मिता जगताप, वैद्यकीय माहाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. मंदार करमरकर, मेडिकल डायरेक्टर डॉ. संजय ललवाणी, थॅलेसिमिया सोसायटी पुणेचे सुरेंद्र कुमार सितानी, मुकुल माधव फाऊंडेशनचे यास्मिन शेख व योगेश रोकडे हे उपस्थित होते.
नवजात अतिदक्षता विभागांमध्ये, जिथे अकाली जन्मलेली व नाजूक बालके जीवनासाठी झुंज देत असतात, तिथे दान केलेले स्तनदूध त्यांच्या लवकर बरे होण्यासाठी अमूल्य वरदान ठरते. दुसऱ्या दुधाच्या तुलनेत पाश्चराइज्ड मानव दूध संक्रमणाचा धोका कमी करते म्हणूनच ते उपलब्ध असेल तर नवजात बालकांच्या पोषणाचा अत्यावश्यक घटक ठरते.

Glad to be associated with the Pune Bajaj Marathon 2025

Bharati Hospital and Research Centre and the Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Physiotherapy, Pune were privileged to provide comprehensive medical and physiotherapy support at this landmark endurance event.

A dedicated team of 40+ physiotherapists from Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) School of Physiotherapy delivered expert care to 500+ runners, focusing on acute injury management, muscle fatigue relief, recovery, and post-run rehabilitation.

In addition, medical teams from Bharati Hospital attended to 475+ runners, managing fatigue, dehydration, blood pressure–related concerns, dizziness, muscle cramps, and minor injuries—ensuring safety, timely care, and runner well-being throughout the marathon.

20 नोव्हेंबर हा वर्ल्ड COPD Day (World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Day) म्हणून साजरा केला जातो. त्यानिमित्त भारती हॉस्पिटल येथील रेस्पिरेटरी थेरपिस्ट तसेच ICU आणि EMD नर्सेसाठी क्विझ स्पर्धेचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. सुमारे २५ जणांनी यात सहभाग घेतला. रेस्पिरेटरी थेरपि विभाग व Fisher & Paykel यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने या कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते.

या प्रश्नमंजुषेचा उद्देश COPD विषयी जागरूकता वाढवणे, जागतिक समस्या समजावून सांगणे आणि भारतीय आरोग्य व्यवस्थेवर होणारा त्याचा महत्वाचा परिणाम यावर प्रकाश टाकणे हा होता. सर्व सहभागींना प्रमाणपत्रे देण्यात आली, तसेच विजेत्यांचा विशेष गौरव करण्यात आला.
