As per NMC guidelines under Family adoption program, Third MBBS students Batch 2023 visited Gogalwadi village on 14th March, 2026. The following activities were conducted:
1. Follow-up family visit –Students visited family and provided details of communication maintained with family members for follow-up of treatment and suggested remedial measures.
2. Community Clinic- Total 46 reported patients to Community Clinic were examined and given treatment in Community Clinic, out of which 1 patient was referred to Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, Pune.
3. Tree Plantation – Medicinal Tree plantation was carried out in individual houses of Gogalwadi villagers under the guidance of Dr. Prachi Sondankar.
4. School Connect: Students were counselled and motivated regarding higher education and career opportunities by faculty.

As per NMC guidelines under Family adoption program, Final MBBS students Batch 2022 visited Nigade village on 7th March, 2026. The following activities were conducted:
1. Family Survey – Final counselling of the family members of allotted families was done by the students. Students also analyzed the health trajectory of adopted families under overall guidance of mentor.
2. Community Clinic- Total 29 reported patients to Community Clinic were examined and given treatment in Community Clinic, out of which 1 patient were referred to Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, Pune.
3. Small Group Discussion –Students participated in a small group discussion regarding health trajectory of adopted families under overall guidance of mentor. Discussion regarding health status of villagers, environmental sanitation, challenges faced during FAP visits and various areas for improvement in health care was done.
4. Environmental & Sanitation survey- Orthotolidine (OT) test was carried out in two houses at Nigade village and also demonstrated to MBBS students. Water sample was collected for chemical & bacteriological analysis from drinking water sources & households.
5. School Connect: Students were counselled and motivated regarding higher education and career opportunities by faculty.

As per NMC guidelines under Family adoption program, First MBBS students Batch 2023 visited Gogalwadi village on 24th February, 2026. The following activities were conducted:
1. Follow-up family visit –Students visited family and provided details of communication maintained with family members for follow-up of treatment and suggested remedial measures.
2. Community Clinic- Total 30 reported patients to Community Clinic were examined and given treatment in Community Clinic, out of which 2 patients were referred to Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, Pune.
3. Participatory Rural Appraisal – All students were divided into 03 groups- A (Roll no. 1-50), B- (Roll no. 51-100), C- (Roll no. 101-155). Transact walk- Drinking water and Transact walk- Sanitation of Gogalwadi village was carried out by students in coordination with villagers and faculty. Group discussion was also carried out regarding healthy life style and diet.
4. Environmental & Sanitation survey- Water sample was collected for chemical & bacteriological analysis from drinking water sources & households from 2 houses. of Education

As per NMC guidelines under Family adoption program, First MBBS students Batch 2025 visited Khanapur village on 12th February, 2026. The following activities were conducted:
1.Family Survey –Students collected data regarding nutrition and health of allotted families and anthropometry measurements were taken. Students suggested remedial measures under the guidance of mentor and suggested follow-up for treatment.
2.Speciality Health Camp - Doctors of Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, Medicine, OB&GY, Dermatology, Pediatrics & Surgery actively participated in Specialty Health camp. Total 103 patients who reported to the Health Camp were examined and given treatment in the camp. Total 17 patients were referred to Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, Pune of which, 6 for Ophthalmology, 05 for Medicine, 02 each for Surgery, Pediatrics & OBGY department.
3.Tree Plantation – Medicinal Tree plantation was carried out in individual houses of Khanapur village by the students.

2. As per NMC guidelines under Family adoption program, Second MBBS students Batch 2024 visited Velu village on 31th January, 2026. The following activities were conducted:
1. Family health Survey – Students collected family health survey data (Forth visit) of allotted families for follow-up treatment and suggested remedial measures.
2. Community clinic : Total 24 villagers were reported in community clinic. Nine patients were referred to one each for ENT, Dental, Pediatrics, Medicine & Surgery and two for Ophthalmology, Ortho. Patients were given health education regarding healthy life style and diet.
3. Health education: Health education was given to antenatal mothers, postnatal mothers and women in reproductive age group regarding maternal health, home based care of young children and nutrition.
Above all activities were conducted under the valuable guidance of Dr. Abhay Mane, Professor & HOD and Dr. Prachi Sondankar, Associate Professor.

As per NMC guidelines under Family adoption program, First MBBS students Batch 2025 visited Khanapur village on 29th January, 2026. The following activities were conducted:
1. Family Survey –Students collected demographic profile of allotted families regarding nutrition and health and suggested remedial measures under the guidance of mentor and suggested follow-up for treatment.
2. Screening camp: Screening camp was conducted at community clinic as well as by house to house visits for villagers. Screening regarding NCD and anemia was done by students with team of residents and social workers under the guidance of faculties.
3. Community clinic & Health education : Total 32 villagers were reported in community clinic. Two patients were referred to one each for Medicine and Ortho. Patients were given health education regarding healthy life style and diet.

Above all activities were conducted under the valuable guidance of Dr. Abhay Mane, Professor & HOD and Dr. Prachi Sondankar, Associate Professor. Ministry of Education
