- Combine rope and chair to create the whole Down Dog pose. Stable hips, open shoulders, and stretched spine.

The majority of individuals perform the Downward Dog, but very few actually understand it.
In the first part, we examine how the hips and shoulders move in Adho Mukha Svanasana by breaking down the foundation with a rope and chair.

- Decompress the back and generate natural spinal length with the rope.
- Including the chair will let you clearly understand shoulder rotation and hip opening.

Little changes result in significant change.
You will never feel the same way about your downward dog again.
Part 2 continues the practice with deeper alignment + a gentle counter stretch.

वितर्कविचारानन्दास्मितारूपानुगमात् संप्रज्ञातः

The yogi is absorbed, but still aware of:
the object of meditation
the feeling of bliss
the sense of “I am meditating.”

Samprajñāt a Samādhi, the mind becomes a clear lake.

From coarse to subtle thought, the mind becomes incredibly sophisticated until it is reduced to pure consciousness.
Though it still requires mental effort, it is serene, expansive, and uplifting.
