कई बार 34 हफ्ते की प्रेगनेंसी में बेबी की ग्रोथ कम (IUGR – Intrauterine Growth Restriction) दिखाई देती है। इसका मतलब है कि बेबी का वजन या विकास गर्भ के अनुसार कम है।
IUGR के कई कारण हो सकते हैं जैसे, प्लासेंटा का कार्य कमजोर होना, मां में हाई ब्लड प्रेशर (PIH), या बेबी की तरफ ब्लड फ्लो कम होना।
इस स्थिति में बेबी को ऑक्सीजन और पोषण की कमी हो सकती है, इसलिए नियमित डॉपलर स्कैन और फीटल मॉनिटरिंग बहुत जरूरी होती है।
मां को प्रोटीन युक्त डाइट, पर्याप्त पानी पीना, और लेफ्ट या राइट लेटरल पोजिशन में आराम करने की सलाह दी जाती है ताकि बेबी की तरफ ब्लड फ्लो बेहतर हो सके।
अगर डॉक्टर बार-बार डॉपलर या एनएसजी (NST) करवाने की सलाह दें, तो उसे फॉलो करें।
समय पर जांच और देखभाल से IUGR वाले बेबी की सेहत को सुरक्षित रखा जा सकता है।

कभी-कभी फैलोपियन ट्यूब में समस्या होने पर उसे निकालना ज़रूरी होता है, इसे Lap Salpingectomy कहते हैं।

पहली प्रेगनेंसी के दौरान अगर सर्विक्स (Cervix) कमजोर या incompetent है, तो समय से पहले डिलीवरी या गर्भपात होने का खतरा बढ़ सकता है।
यह स्थिति आमतौर पर अल्ट्रासाउंड (Sonography) में पता चलती है, जब डॉक्टर Cervical Length मापते हैं।
सामान्यत: 3.5 से 4 cm की लेंथ सही मानी जाती है, लेकिन अगर यह 2.5 cm से कम हो जाए या internal os खुला हो, तो डॉक्टर आपको cerclage (stitch) लगाने, bed rest या hydroxyprogesterone injection लेने की सलाह देते हैं।
अगर आपको pelvic pressure, lower abdominal pain, या vaginal fluid discharge महसूस हो, तो अल्ट्रासाउंड का इंतजार न करें तुरंत डॉक्टर से संपर्क करें।
जल्दी पहचान और सही इलाज से preterm delivery को रोका जा सकता है और प्रेगनेंसी सुरक्षित रखी जा सकती है।

कई बार Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) साइकिल कैंसिल हो जाता है क्योंकि endometrial lining सही से नहीं बनती या hormone levels balanced नहीं रहते।
लेकिन ये स्थिति बिल्कुल normal है और आपको चिंतित होने की जरूरत नहीं है।
डॉक्टर estrogen dose बदल सकते हैं या नया HRT protocol शुरू कर सकते हैं।
अगर आपकी periods regular हैं, तो natural cycle embryo transfer या modified natural cycle FET से भी बहुत अच्छे results मिलते हैं।
जैसे ही आपकी endometrial thickness adequate और hormonal balance perfect होता है, डॉक्टर आपका embryo transfer safely plan करते हैं।

कई महिलाएं सोचती हैं कि Endometriosis होने से IVF treatment सफल नहीं हो सकता, लेकिन ऐसा जरूरी नहीं है।
Endometriosis में अंडों की क्वालिटी थोड़ी प्रभावित हो सकती है या implantation में थोड़ी दिक्कत आती है, पर सही treatment protocol, blastocyst transfer और laser-assisted hatching से सफलता की संभावना बहुत बढ़ जाती है।
आज की मरीज को भी यही डर था कि एंडोमेट्रियोसिस की वजह से IVF फेल हो जाएगा, लेकिन उनकी endometrial lining perfect है और two good quality blastocysts तैयार हुए हैं।
सही diagnosis, experienced IVF doctor और personalized treatment से first attempt में भी pregnancy possible है।
