The inauguration of the 32nd Free Plastic Surgery Camp – 2026 at Sancheti Hospital once again reaffirmed our belief that healthcare must always be compassionate, inclusive, and service driven.
This long-standing humanitarian initiative, in collaboration with Bharatiya Jain Sanghatna and Chandmal Munot Trust, carries forward a legacy inspired by the vision of Late Padmashri Dr. Sharadkumar Dicksheet. It was heartening to witness dedicated teams and esteemed colleagues come together for a shared cause.
The continued selfless contribution of Dr. Larry Weinstein and the entire plastic surgery team will help transform lives by restoring function, dignity, and confidence. Such initiatives remind us that true impact lies in collective commitment and care beyond boundaries.
Wish to place on record my appreciation and thanks for Dr. Larry Weinstein supported by Dr. Sanjay Lalla, Dr. Whitney Pafford and Ms. Linda Patterson. Thanks to Mr. Shashikant Munot & Mr. Rahul Choube for all your assistance to make this Camp a success. Wish to also thank Pritam Mahatmaji and Sudhir Mahatmaji for being present during the inauguration.
The Free Plastic Surgery Camp next year will be organised at Sancheti Hospital on 8th, 9th & 10th January 2027.

It was a pleasure to be part of the academic meeting on “Recent Advances in the Management of Neuropathic Pain”, held at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Pune, in the IVY–IRIS Hall. The session, which took place in the morning with a well-organised breakfast interaction followed by scientific deliberations, provided an excellent platform for meaningful exchange of knowledge and clinical experience.

It was an honour to serve as the First President of the Ranawat Orthopaedic Conference (ROC) Society and to organise ROC 2026 – 22nd Winter Meeting in Bengaluru.

With 100+ national & international faculty and 750+ delegates, the conference became a memorable academic success, while proudly carrying forward the inspiring legacy of Dr. C. S. Ranawat.

The theme “Advances in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy” reflected the innovation shaping modern orthopaedics. From engaging sports sessions to in-depth discussions on knee & hip arthroplasty and spinopelvic alignment, the learning was truly enriching.

A special highlight was the Tribute – Celebration of Life to Dr. C. S. Ranawat, a moment of gratitude and reflection.

Grateful to all faculty, delegates, organising team, and industry partners for making ROC 2026 exceptional. I now hand over the Presidentship to Dr. Harish Bhende and look forward to ROC 2027 in Jaipur.

The legacy truly continues.

It was a privilege to be part of WIROC 2025, the 60th Annual Conference of the Bombay Orthopaedic Society, held at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake. On Saturday, 27th December 2025, I had the honour of contributing to an academically stimulating afternoon, engaging with future-ready themes that are rapidly shaping modern orthopaedic practice.
I was grateful for the opportunity to serve as Chairperson for the session “Artificial Intelligence in Orthopaedics: From Hype to Hands-on”, where we explored the transition of AI from conceptual promise to practical, clinically relevant applications. This was followed by my role as a Speaker in the session “Immersive Technology in Medicine”, where I shared insights on the role of virtual reality and simulation in arthroscopy training, highlighting how immersive technologies are transforming surgical education, skill acquisition, and patient safety.
My sincere thanks to the organising team—Dr. Gautam Zaveri, Dr. Chasanal Rathod, and Dr. Parag Lad—for the warm hospitality, meticulous planning, and for curating a conference that balanced academic depth with innovation. WIROC 2025 truly fostered meaningful dialogue, collaborative learning, and a shared vision for the future of orthopaedics.

Lamp Lighting & Nursing Oath-Taking Ceremony | Sancheti Institute of Nursing Education
It was a moment of pride and purpose to witness the Lamp Lighting and Oath-Taking Ceremony of our student nurses at Sancheti Institute of Nursing Education. The lighting of the lamp symbolised knowledge, hope, and the timeless values of the nursing profession, while the oath marked a solemn commitment to service, ethics, and compassion.
I was deeply honoured to share this meaningful occasion with our respected Chief Guest, Dr. Ashalata N. Nandedkar, and alongside my father, Dr. K. H. Sancheti, and my sister, Mrs. Manisha Sanghvi. Seeing the 5th batch of GNM and the 3rd batch of B.Sc. Nursing students step confidently into this noble profession was truly inspiring.
My sincere appreciation to Mrs. Suneetha Rocha, Principal, Mrs. Jyoti Pathare, faculty, and academic team for shaping these young minds with dedication and values that go beyond textbooks. To our student nurses—may you carry this light forward, serving humanity with skill, empathy, and integrity.
This ceremony reaffirmed my belief that nursing is not just a profession, but a calling that lies at the very heart of healthcare.

Honoured to be part of the 70th Annual Conference of the Indian Orthopaedic Association – IOACON 2025, the Platinum Jubilee edition, hosted by NEROSA and GOS held at Guwahati, from 15th–20th December 2025.
The IOA PG Teaching Course, a 6-day long, well-curated academic journey, truly reflected the conference theme of Academics, Research and Networking, bringing together experienced orthopaedic surgeons and enthusiastic postgraduate students on a single learning platform.
Day 3 carried the thought-provoking theme “Rethink, Revise & Redo”, reinforcing the essence of reflective practice in orthopaedics. AAROHAN 2025 | From My Heart to Our Sancheti Family
Aarohan 2025 was not just a celebration—it was a reflection of everything Sancheti stands for.
We began with the Legacy Lunch, honouring the pillars of our institution—those who have walked beside my father, Dr. K. H. Sancheti, for over 25 years. Their dedication, loyalty, and values are the foundation on which Sancheti has grown.
Giving back has always been close to our hearts. Through our CSR initiatives, we conducted a free health screening camp for senior citizens, reaffirming our responsibility toward those who need care the most. We were also honoured to host DCP Pune, Shri Krushikesh Ravale, and conduct a series of wellness activities for our police force—true everyday heroes who safeguard our society.
One of the most inspiring moments was hosting the incredible athletes from the Khadki Paraplegic Centre. The fun activities and the intense wheelchair basketball match were a powerful reminder that determination knows no limits.
And finally, Aarohan came alive with celebrations—music, dance, skits, laughter, and togetherness—each moment celebrating our journey, our people, and our purpose.
Grateful to every team member, partner, and well-wisher who made Aarohan 2025 so meaningful.
What I enjoyed most about Aarohan 2025 is the bond between our departments, doctors & medical and administrative staff and that is what KHS sir has also taught us about team bonding and team effort.
Together, we honour our legacy. Together, we celebrate our present. Together, we move forward.

It was a meaningful and well-spent evening at Loyola on Friday, 19th December, as members of the L 82 / 84 batch came together for a thoughtfully curated programme that beautifully blended remembrance, reflection, and celebration. The evening began with a walk on the school grounds, a symbolic gesture highlighting our collective journey and contribution—especially the batch’s significant role as the highest contributor towards the Loyola Sports Ground project.
The gathering then moved to the school library, where a deeply moving prayer and remembrance session honoured classmates who are no longer with us. This was followed by a concise yet impactful overview of the major projects undertaken by the batch over the years, including initiatives in healthcare, education, infrastructure, and sports development. The discussions reflected not just achievements, but a shared commitment to giving back and continuing meaningful contributions.
An open and engaging exchange of ideas on future projects and fundraising further reinforced the spirit of collaboration and responsibility. As the evening progressed, the group walked together to the old staff quarters for a warm and relaxed dinner gathering. Wish to thank Nitin Joshi and Manish Tikekar for hosting a grand birthday party. I really enjoyed the celebrations including cake cutting and dinner, which were marked by camaraderie, gratitude, and nostalgia. Overall, it was an enriching evening that celebrated legacy, unity, and purpose.
