💧 P. M. Shah Foundation – School Sanitation & Safe Drinking Water Project 🌱

P. M. Shah Foundation recently conducted engaging awareness sessions in 10 schools under our School Sanitation & Safe Drinking Water Project on the topic “Importance of Sanitation Workers & their Negligence.”

The sessions helped students understand the vital role played by sanitation workers in maintaining public health and hygiene. Students learned about the different types of sanitation work carried out by sanitation workers and how these roles are often unfairly divided and stigmatized in society.

The discussion also highlighted the importance of their work in protecting community health. Sanitation workers risk their lives and make immense sacrifices to keep our surroundings clean, safe, and disease-free. Yet, despite their essential contribution, they often face neglect, lack of respect, and social exclusion.

Through this initiative, we aim to encourage young minds to recognize the dignity of labour, respect sanitation workers, and build a more aware, compassionate, and responsible society.

💧 P. M. Shah Foundation – School Sanitation & Safe Drinking Water Project 🌱

P. M. Shah Foundation recently conducted interactive awareness sessions in 10 schools under the theme “Drawing Competition.”

To highlight the importance of cleanliness and sanitation, a drawing competition was organized focusing on the theme of Swachata (Cleanliness). Students creatively illustrated issues related to waste management and unhygienic surroundings through colorful and meaningful artwork.

Through their drawings, the students successfully expressed the challenges of unclean environments and shared powerful messages about maintaining hygiene. Each artwork was accompanied by thoughtful slogans, reflecting their awareness and commitment towards a cleaner and healthier future.

We are proud to see young minds actively participating and spreading the message of sanitation and safe drinking water in their communities. 💙

The session guided students through an open open and informative platform for students to learn about menstrual health and hygiene in a supportive and comfortable environment.

The session covered:

✨ Busting common myths and misconceptions
✨ Importance of hygiene practices
✨ Open discussions to clear doubts and encourage confidence

💧 P. M. Shah Foundation – School Sanitation & Safe Drinking Water Project 🌱👦👧

P. M. Shah Foundation recently conducted interactive awareness sessions in 10 schools as part of its ongoing efforts to promote water conservation and responsible water usage among students.

🎯 Session Topic: ✋🧼 Water Conservation

Through this session, students were encouraged to understand that water conservation means using only the required quantity of water, avoiding water pollution, practicing rainwater harvesting, and allowing rainwater to infiltrate into the ground for groundwater recharge.

📘 Students learned about:
1️⃣ The importance and need for water
2️⃣ Different methods of water conservation
3️⃣ The significance of water conservation
4️⃣ Why water conservation is essential for the future

🌍 By spreading awareness at an early age, we aim to build a generation that values water and protects natural resources.
