Columbia Institute of Pharmacy, Raipur, organized a Two-Day National Seminar on "Advancing Ethical Practices and the 3Rs in Biomedical Research: A Multidisciplinary Approach", sponsored by the Committee for Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CCSEA) and co-sponsored by Jan Pragati Education Society, Raipur.
The inaugural ceremony on Day 1 was graced by Dr. Deependra Singh, Chairman, Education Regulation Committee, Pharmacy Council of India, Delhi, and Professor, University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. Other dignitaries included Shri Kishor Jadwani, Chairman, Jan Pragati Education Society; Shri Harjeet Singh Hura, Secretary, Jan Pragati Education Society; and Dr. Ravindra Kumar Pandey, Principal, Columbia Institute of Pharmacy.
The program began with a Sarswati Pooja, followed by speeches from the guests. The plenary lecture was delivered by Dr. Papiya Bigoniya, Adjunct Professor, RKDF University, Bhopal. This was followed by lectures from Dr. Rupesh Pandey and Dr. Trilochan Satpathy, and a hands-on training session on handling experimental animals. The day concluded with a poster presentation session, evaluated by Dr. Chanchal Deep Kaur and Dr. Amit Nayak
