Main aur mere junior , kam magar most senior se bhi badh kar, ek din me multiple major surgeries, uske baad minor cases ki lambi listā€¦ kabhi OT se seedha ward, kabhi ward se emergency. Thak jaate the, lekin rukte nahi the. Kyunki har patient ke peeche ek umeed hoti thiā€¦ aur hum us umeed ka hissa the.

Kaam ke beech hasi-mazaak, chai ke chhote breaks, aur ek dusre ka support , isi ne har mushkil ko asaan banaya. AIIMS ka safar sirf cases ka experience nahi thaā€¦ yahan mentorship, dedication aur teamwork ka asli matlab samajh aaya, nursing staff ka support har chota bada sirf ek kam ke liye laga rahta ki patient ko theek karke chodenge.

Yahan har junior sirf seekhta nahi thaā€¦ evolve karta tha. Itna ki kai baar lagta tha , ye log kisi professor se kam nahi.

Tabhi mai bolta tha inko

Some surgeries stay in your memory foreverā€¦ this was one of those days.

The day I performed my first lap nephrectomy for the treatment of kidney removal surgery in Kidney Cancer.
The surgery went smooth, every step felt right, nd that inner thrill every surgeon knows was hard to hide.

In surgery, the real celebration isnā€™t loud , itā€™s that quiet moment when the last stitch is done nd you realize everything went perfectly.

But that dayā€¦ we decided the achievement deserved something extra.
So after hours of intense focus in the OT, we shifted our surgical energy to something equally important - a great pizza party šŸ•.

Stories were shared, lessons were discussed, nd the excitement of the moment reminded us y we chose this demanding yet beautiful profession.

Coz sometimes, after removing a kidneyā€¦ the best post-operative protocol is simply pizza, laughter, and gratitude for a successful surgery šŸ¤©
