Amid this covid - 19 pandemic, the news of notification authorizing postgraduate practitioners in specified streams of ayurveda to perform general surgical procedures has made an outbreak especially in medical fraternity.

IMA has called for a strike to withdraw all non - essential and non - covid services between 6am - 6pm protesting against this decision.
