๐ŸŒฟโœจ โ€œJeevaneeyaโ€ โ€“ Ayurveda Arogya Mitra Abhiyan โœจ๐ŸŒฟ ๐Ÿ“… 21st November 2025

As part of the Ayurpraveshika (Transitional Curriculum) 2025, our Ist Profession junior students participated in the student outreach programme โ€œJeevaneeyaโ€, envisioned by NCISM to connect rural communities with Ayurvedic concepts of health.

๐Ÿš The team, coordinated by Dr. Ketan Bhimani and accompanied by Dr. Bhavin Dubal and Dr. Akhila G, left the campus at 8:15 am and reached Sardar village at 8:45 am. ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Students were divided into 10 groups, each guided by a senior mentor from the Ayush Amrit Club. ๐Ÿก Each group visited families across the village, collecting details on physical, mental, social, cultural, and health aspects through structured Google forms. ๐Ÿ“Š A total of 98 responses were successfully recorded, reflecting the realities of rural health and lifestyle. ๐ŸŒธ The students interacted warmly with families, gaining an eye-opening experience and committing to follow up with their adopted families throughout their academic journey.

โœจ The initiative not only strengthened the bond between Ayurveda and society but also instilled in students a sense of responsibility, compassion, and service as future Vaidyas.

๐Ÿ™ The day began with Dhanwantari Prayer & Thought for the Day by Dr. Ruksar Piparvadiya. ๐Ÿฅ Dr. Ashwini A conducted a session on Health Policy, orienting students to the broader healthcare framework. ๐ŸŽ“ Mrs. Bhavna Patel introduced students to RKU SOAC, ICC & NCC, highlighting opportunities for engagement and leadership. ๐Ÿซ Students explored the campus through departmental visits, guided by Dr. Yatri, Ms. Kirtiben, and Mr. Nikul. ๐Ÿง  Dr. Ruksar Piparvadiya led a session on Ayurveda Psychology, connecting mind and body wellness. โ›‘๏ธ Dr. Shreekanth P trained students in Basic First Aid, including CPR, wound care, and emergency response skills. ๐Ÿšญ Dr. Nimmi A N oriented students on the National To***co Control Programme, emphasizing preventive health. ๐Ÿ’ฐ Dr. Manoj Pande shared insights on Ayurveda & Economics of Health, linking tradition with modern healthcare systems. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ The day concluded with Mindfulness Practice by Dr. Ashwini A, enhancing focus, clarity, and emotional balance.

โœจ The sessions encouraged students to stay calm in emergencies, assist those in need, and embrace responsibility, while also discovering simple techniques to manage stress and improve concentration.

The thirteenth day of the Transitional Curriculum Programme was a meaningful journey of learning, reflection, and inspiration, guiding our BAMS students deeper into the philosophy and practice of Ayurveda.

๐Ÿ™ The day began with Dhanwantari Prayer & Thought for the Day by Dr. Vinita Sharma. ๐Ÿ“š Dr. Avinash Kanasagara conducted a Sanskrit practice session, strengthening linguistic clarity and confidence. ๐ŸŒธ Dr. Anagha Sivanandan shared insights on the scope of Gynecology & Obstetrics in Ayurveda, expanding studentsโ€™ clinical vision. ๐ŸŽญ Dr. Bhavin Dubal led a drama on Student Safety & Ragging-free Campus, emphasizing awareness and support systems. ๐ŸŒฟ Dr. Mehul Joshi inspired students with Heritage in Young Hands: Youth as Brand Ambassadors of Ayurveda. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ Dr. Divya R introduced Ashtang Yoga for wellbeing โ€“ Swasthya, Satya, Seva, blending physical and mental balance. ๐Ÿ“– Dr. Vinita Sharma guided students through the Indian Knowledge System (IKS), connecting tradition with modern learning. ๐Ÿ“š Students explored the Book Fair at the Ayurvedic College Library, enriching their academic resources. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ The day concluded with mindfulness practice, enhancing focus, clarity, and motivation.

โœจ The final reflection encouraged students to embrace Ayurveda as a career of compassion, knowledge, and dedication, laying a strong foundation for their journey as future Vaidyas.

๐Ÿ™ The day began with Dhanwantari Vandana and a thoughtful message by Dr. Anjali Suresh Babu. ๐ŸŒ Dr. Divya R introduced the concept of Environmental Hygiene & Janapadodhwamsa in Ayurveda, emphasizing collective health. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ Ms. Bela Varsani from Saurashtra Vipassana led a session on Triguna for emotional intelligence, stress management & Atmanirbharata, followed by a refreshing Anapana meditation. ๐Ÿฅ Dr. Bhargav Mehta discussed National Health Policies & the role of Ayurveda, highlighting its relevance in modern healthcare. ๐ŸŒฑ Mr. Sagar Vadar engaged students in an interactive session on Ayurveda & Agriculture, connecting traditional wisdom with sustainable practices. ๐Ÿšญ Dr. Bhavin Dubal shared insights on the Ayurveda perspective of de-addiction, encouraging healthy living. ๐ŸŒŸ Dr. Shreyas Bhalodiya, Principal & Medical Superintendent, Global Institute of Ayurveda, Rajkot, inspired students with his journey as a Vaidya. ๐Ÿ’ป Prof. Alpa Makvana introduced Digital Literacy & LMS tools at the Learning Lab, equipping students with modern academic skills. ๐ŸŒธ The day concluded with a guided meditation, fostering focus, mindfulness, and inner clarity.

โœจ Day 12 truly embodied the spirit of Ayurveda โ€“ blending science, culture, inspiration, and mindfulness for the holistic development of future Vaidyas.

The eleventh day of the programme was filled with insightful sessions, cultural learning, and compassionate reflections, equipping our newly admitted BAMS students with essential skills for their journey ahead.

๐Ÿ™ The day began with Dhanvanatari Vandana, setting a serene and focused tone. ๐ŸŒŸ Dr. Trupti Danidhariya delivered a powerful lecture on Cultural Competence & Disability Awareness, highlighting empathy as therapy in rehabilitation. ๐Ÿ“– Dr. Saugata Ghosh guided students on Scientific Writing & Plagiarism, encouraging evidence-based Ayurveda and responsible research practices. ๐Ÿ•‰๏ธ Dr. Avinash Kanasagara led Sloka Recitation Practice, enhancing rhythm, clarity, and confidence, followed later by a Spoken Sanskrit session to strengthen linguistic foundations. ๐Ÿ’ก Mr. Umesh Maheta inspired students with insights on Organ Donation โ€“ body, eye, skin donation, and social responsibility. ๐ŸŽ“ Students were also informed about scholarship opportunities, opening doors for future academic growth. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ The day concluded with self-meditation, fostering awareness, compassion, and inner balance.

โœจ Overall, Day 11 was a resounding success, blending knowledge, culture, and values to nurture the holistic development of future Vaidyas.

The tenth day of the Transitional Curriculum for our newly admitted BAMS students was a beautiful blend of spiritual grounding, academic enrichment, and self-reflection โ€“ nurturing the mindset of future Ayurvedic physicians.

๐Ÿ™ The day began with the Dhanvantari Prayer & Thought for the Day, setting a calm and focused atmosphere. ๐ŸŒŸ Dr. Himadree Vyas, our proud alumna, inspired students with Success Stories of Ayurveda in Modern Practice, sharing achievements in Rasayana therapy and integrative oncology. ๐ŸŒฟ Dr. Niketa Soni introduced the concept of Ayurveda & Personalized Medicine, highlighting Prakriti as the foundation of preventive healthcare. ๐Ÿธ Mr. Kushal Maheshwari briefed students on co-curricular opportunities โ€“ sports, clubs, and house activities โ€“ encouraging holistic growth. ๐Ÿ“š Dr. Avinash Kanasagara conducted Sanskrit Orientation and later a Spoken Sanskrit session, immersing students in grammar, verb conjugation, and the rhythmic beauty of shlokas through Chhandas. ๐Ÿ’ก Dr. Vishakha Kheradiya delivered an inspiring talk on โ€œPride in Becoming a Healerโ€, motivating students to embrace the responsibility and privilege of the healing profession. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ The day concluded with a motivational session on Becoming a Vaidya, reflection on goal setting, and a Mindfulness Practice led by Dr. Shafna M. V., guiding students toward inner clarity and commitment.

โœจ Overall, Day 10 beautifully combined knowledge, culture, inspiration, and introspection, supporting a meaningful transition into the Ayurvedic learning environment.
