To,
Hon'ble Supreme Court
Subject: Regarding order of NEET.

1. What is common about a 2-phase test? Can the 2 papers be of equal difficulty level? There should be one common exam in July.

2. Unfair on non- CBSE students as they studied different syllabus for 2 years.

3. Some states give weight to Board marks. So students concentrate on Board exams as well. Now only NEET rank would matter.

4. Money on forms/tickets already spent this year. . Nobody should play with careers of students by changing the rules of the game at the last moment.

5.State like maharashtra and gujarat keep the 12th syllabus only for entrance test. At this stage, forcing the syllabus of 11th and 12th CBSE will be unfair.

6.If you want that highly knowledgeable students must get admission in medical collages, first make the same syllabus in whole country than take such exam to know and compare the level of knowledge in students.

7. State like tamilnadu do not have any entrance test for medical. How will they be able to compete in two months.

Pl forward to maximum people .

The Supreme Court on Thursday (i.e 6 days before the CET exam) told the Centre to cancel CET entrance test dated 5th may 2016 and implement National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) from academic year 2016-17 dated 1st may 2016 and 24 july 2016 instead of All India Pre Medical Test(AIPMT). WE OPPOSE NEET for 2015-16 academic year.....

Please read the whole and try to understand the perspective of students....

Education system should build them not break them

Today Supreme Court of India has passed a verdict affecting around 9 lakh students all over India. Supreme Court directed Government and CBSE to conduct NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (NEET) and directed MCI to conduct admission to all the medical and dental colleges on the basis of merit list prepared thereafter.
This is really a welcome decision in a way as it will eliminate the irregularities incurring in admission process by various private medical colleges and give all the students a fair chance to get admission strictly on the merits.
But we need to look at the other side of the coin too. For nearly 66000 students who have opted B group studying in Gujarat board this is a shocking news. Majority of the students are very disappointed by this hasty decision. There are several reasons to explain this:

1.) NEET should have been introduced from the next academic year.
Nearly 66000 students who opted B group after passing standard 10 exams in 2014 were informed that they will undergo 4 semester exams every 6 months following that they will have to appear for GUJCET and after that merit will be prepared considering 15% for each semester and 40% of GUJCET. All the students prepared for this pattern until now. They worked hard for every semester and they are heading for GUJCET just 12 days later. Now suddenly you are telling them that the results of all 4 semesters will be nullified and you will have to give only one exam NEET and the merit will be prepared on that basis. It is really frustrating to them. There is no value of semester exams anymore. All the hard work and stress they underwent of board exams have no value now. This is really unfair.

2. NEET will be conducted by CBSE board and the curriculum will be not the same as Gujarat Board opted. In other words you have to prepare for an exam whose curriculum is different what you have learned in 2 years and that too in 2 months. This is really unfair.

3. Moreover, majority of the students opting B group and registered for AIPMT are giving this exam for experience only. Their focus is obviously for GUJCET. Now they will be compelled to appear for AIPMT and that too with 2 days preparations. It is absolutely unfair. Students who didn't register for AIPMT are now at advantage by default as they will get 2 months time period for preparations.

4. Proposed NEET exam will include standard 11 as well as standard 12 as the curriculum while GUJCET includes only standard 12 as curriculum. Obviously students are not prepared at present!
5. NEET formula is 50% Biology + 25% each Physics and Chemistry, while GUJCET formula gives equal weight age to each subject.

6. Proposed NEET PHASE 1 (AIPMT) will be conducted in two languages only ( English and Hindi) while GUJCET will be conducted in Gujarati and English. In Gujarat more than 70% students are from Gujarati medium even today... It is next to impossible for them unless NEET being conducted in regional language...! Earlier in 2013 too NEET was conducted but that time it was conducted in 15 regional languages for different states!

In general, NEET is not a bad idea at all. We only demand that it shouldn't be implemented from this academic year itself. It will lead thousands of students under tremendous stress and frustration. Gujarat is the only state where State board students undergo 4 semester exams... Nowhere else this system prevail. They are not ready for this sudden change.. They have finished 60% board exams by now. Now all of a sudden you can't subject them to different kind of exam system.

Ideally every student who starts his/her academic year after standard 10 should have clarity about the exam he/she will undergo for precise adaptation of the system. No one would mind if NEET will be started from current academic year starting for standard 11 students!

It's a time for all the parents to get united and represent the case at the appropriate level. Now ball is in the court of educationist and government. They must understand the pain of thousands of students and their parents. They must represent the case to the court and make them to understand the problem and differ the decision for the next academic year!

Please share this post till the students get clarity of their future

Summery:
NEET syllabus is CBSE syllabus whish is diff then Gujarat Board nd GUJCAT syllabus.

Language for NEET is not Gujarati nd those who applied for AIPMT is optional nd experience in presence of GUJCAT.

Before implementing examination system standard there has to be Syllabus Standardisation..which is natural call for justice..
