World Cancer Day 2026 | Scudder Memorial Hospital, Ranipet

In observance of World Cancer Day 2026, Scudder Memorial Hospital, Ranipet organized a Cancer Awareness and Health Education Program from 2nd to 6th February 2026, in collaboration with our Nursing Services, Doctors, and Dietician team.

Aligned with this year’s theme, “United by Unique,” the program focused on people- centered care, early detection, and prevention, recognizing that every patient’s journey is unique, yet our responsibility is shared.

Awareness sessions were conducted across multiple OPDs and wards, covering cancers such as Lung, Oral, Bone, Breast, Cervical, Colon, Blood, Skin, and more. The public was educated on risk factors, warning signs, screening methods, and healthy lifestyle practices.

Through interactive discussions, chart presentations, dietary guidance, and open Q&A sessions, our healthcare team encouraged:

✔️ To***co cessation
✔️ Healthy diet and exercise
✔️ Timely medical consultation

We are grateful for the enthusiastic participation of patients and families, which made this initiative impactful and meaningful.

Health Check-up Camp at Regional Transport Office, Ranipet

As part of our commitment to preventive healthcare and community well-being, a Health Check-up Camp was successfully conducted at the Regional Transport Office (RTO), Ranipet.

The camp focused on:

General health screening

Blood pressure and basic health assessments

Early identification of health concerns

Health awareness among staff and visitors
