Sainik School Rewa Sainik School Rewa Old Boy's Association The present Administrative-cum-Academic block was constructed in mid-seventies.

Sainik School, Rewa was established on 20 July, 1962 at the sprawling estate known as Yuvraj Bhawan, which belonged to Maharaja Martand Singh Ju Deo, Yuvraj of ex-princely state of Rewa. The team of founder members under the dynamic leadership of Lt Col R R Narang, the Principal established the school in the land of white tigers with strength of 150 students from Class V to IX. School adopted "Vidyaiv Balam" (Knowledge is Power) as its motto signifying that everything can be attained through knowledge. Sainik School, Rewa lifted the prestigious Raksha Mantri trophy for contributing maximum boys in NDA in the years 1967, 1973 and 1993. As on date, the School has the distinction of sending over 500 cadets to NDA, many of them have reached the rank of Lt Gen in the Army and equivalent in Air Force & Navy, including General Officer Commanding-in-Chief. Three alumni have been conferred Vir Chakra, three Shaurya Chakra and three Sena Medals during different operations in the defence of the country. Several others are actively contributing towards the progress of the country as senior bureaucrats in the Central and State Government or in senior management roles of the corporate world; exceling in the fields of technology, banking & finance, medicine, politics, media and many other diverse professions.
