ADMISSION NOTIFICATION
COMPREHENSIVE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME IN OPHTHALMOLOGY
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 2 (two in number) seats of the 18 month long Comprehensive Fellowship Programme in Ophthalmology [Anterior Segment and IOL] to be conducted by and at Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute (NEI), Rishikesh.
• SPECIALIZATION AREA: ANTERIOR SEGMENT and IOL
• DURATION: 18 Months
• No. OF SEATS AVAILABLE: 2 (Two)
• ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: MS (Ophthalmology) / Diploma in Ophthalmology (approved by MCI / NMC) or DNB (Ophthalmology)
• TRAINING CONDUCTED BY & AT: Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India
NIRMAL ASHRAM EYE INSTITUTE
Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute (NEI) was established as a charitable Institute in March 2005 and is a state-of-the-art eye care hospital run by Nirmal Mission for Vision Society (NMVS), Rishikesh. NMVS functions under the aegis of Nirmal Ashram, Rishikesh, which is a public charitable trust. His Holiness, Mahant Baba Ram Singh Ji is the present spiritual head of the Ashram and Sriman Sant Baba Jodh Singh Ji, General Secretary, looks after all philanthropic activities of the Ashram and its sister Institutions. The hospital is dedicated to the service of humanity and is committed to, primarily, address the problem of curable blindness in rural and remote areas of Uttarakhand as also in the adjoining districts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process shall involve an exhaustive interview, which shall be conducted by an Admission Committee, comprising members from NEI. Admission to the Fellowship Programme shall be offered to applicants based on their standing in the final merit list.
The said Fellowship Programme shall be conducted, in totality, at NEI Campus, Rishikesh and Certificates shall be awarded by NEI to all successful candidates.

A Eye and Dental Screening Camp was organized on 25th October 2025 at Rajkiye Prathmik Vidhyalaya, Tibri, Haridwar, supported by Wipro Enterprises Private Limited, Haridwar, under their CSR initiative.

During the camp, a total of 135 school children were screened by the medical teams from Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute and Seema Dental College, Rishikesh. Out of these, 27 students were provided with necessary medicines, and 13 students were referred to the base hospital for further specialized treatment. In addition, dental kits were distributed to all 135 students to encourage good oral hygiene practices.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors and supporting staff for their dedicated efforts. A special thanks to Dr. Vaishnavi and her team from Seema Dental College, Rishikesh for their active participation and valuable contribution in making this camp a success.

Such CSR initiatives play an important role in promoting preventive healthcare and ensuring the well-being of school children in rural communities.

निःशुल्क नेत्र जाँच शिविर – संस्कार भारती चिल्ड्रेन एकेडमी, रायवाला

दिनांक: 26 अक्टूबर 2025
परम पूज्य श्री राम सिंह जी महाराज एवं परम पूज्य श्री संत जोध सिंह जी महाराज की दिव्य कृपा और आशीर्वाद से, निर्मल आश्रम नेत्र संस्थान, ऋषिकेश द्वारा संस्कार भारती चिल्ड्रेन एकेडमी, राईवाला में एक निःशुल्क नेत्र जाँच शिविर का सफल आयोजन किया गया।
शिविर में कुल 259 मरीजों की नेत्र जाँच की गई।
इनमें से 21 मरीजों में मोतियाबिंद की पहचान हुई, जिनमें से 19 मरीजों को आगे के उपचार एवं ऑपरेशन के लिए संस्थान लाया गया।
इसके अतिरिक्त, 135 मरीजों को निःशुल्क चश्मे प्रदान किए गए तथा 120 मरीजों को निःशुल्क दवाइयाँ वितरित की गईं।
हम ग्राम प्रधान श्री सागर गिरी जी, स्कूल की प्रिंसिपल श्रीमती नूतन पांडे जी, वाइस प्रिंसिपल श्रीमती तुलसी पांडे जी तथा हमारी डॉक्टरों की टीम और सहयोगी स्टाफ का हार्दिक धन्यवाद करते हैं, जिनके सहयोग से यह शिविर सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ।
