Ardha Dhanurasana (Half Bow Pose) - Made Easy with a Bolster 🧘‍♂️

In today’s practice, I’m sharing a safe and beginner-friendly way to practice Ardha Dhanurasana using a bolster.
This variation helps open the chest, stretch the spine, and support the lower back—perfect for those who find the full pose challenging.

✨ Focus on your breath
✨ Move gently and mindfully
✨ Always respect your body

Save this post for your daily practice and try it with awareness 🙏

Namaste 🌿

Struggling with lower back pain? 🙏✨
Here are 3 simple yet powerful yoga asanas to release stiffness and find relief naturally.

1️⃣ Parivritta Janu Sirsasana – Gently stretches the QL muscle and opens the side body.
2️⃣ Butterfly Pose (Baddha Konasana) – Loosens tight inner thighs that often contribute to lower back tension.
3️⃣ Pigeon Pose – Deep hip opener that releases the outer hip, TFL & IT band.

Practice these poses mindfully, stay for a few breaths, and feel the difference in your lower back.
Your body will thank you. 💛

Save this video for your practice & share with someone who needs it. 🙌

In today’s practice, we explore Setu Bandha Sarvangasana with the support of blankets and a bolster. This gentle backbend helps open the heart, relax the shoulders, and soothe the nervous system.
Take your time, breathe deeply, and let your body settle into stillness.

✨ Can I Teach an Asana That I Cannot Perform? ✨
A common question many yoga students-and even teachers-often ask.
The answer is YES, you can teach an asana even if you can’t do it perfectly right now. Here’s how:

1️⃣ Past Experience Counts
If you’ve practiced the asana before, even years ago- your body and mind remember the journey. That experience gives you the understanding to guide others safely.

2️⃣ Deep Personal Practice
You may still be struggling with the pose, but if you’ve spent months or years exploring it, trying, failing, learning, and adjusting…
You actually know the pose deeply. Your journey itself becomes your teaching.

3️⃣ Anatomical Understanding
Even if you’re not performing the asana, having a strong anatomical and technical understanding allows you to break it down safely and effectively for students.

Yoga is not about perfection, it’s about awareness, experience, and sharing knowledge with humility and authenticity. 🌿

💛 Keep learning. Keep teaching. Keep growing.
Namaste 🙏
