For info on Private/Group sessions or if you have any questions, please get in touch. Through many years of intense training I sustained a number of injuries and the only thing that has consistently helped me rehabilitate, regain strength and prevent further injury is yoga. I took my first yoga class almost 7 years ago as I knew that it would help with my aches and pains and improve my flexibility but I did not expect it to have such a profound effect on my mind. I find that the body-breath-mind connection that is maintained throughout the yoga practice gives me a deep calming feeling that is very hard to replicate and it is part of the reason why I fell in love with yoga. I used to practice yoga just to help me prepare for my next martial arts class but now it has become much more than that. It is a way for me to relieve stress and tension in my mind and body and it also helps increase my mental strength, focus, determination as well as improve my muscular strength, flexibility and balance. It has had such a large impart on my life as a whole and practicing yoga has definitely helped me become the person I am today. My love for yoga has grown over the years and always knew I had the ability to teach it to others so I decided it was time to go to Rishikesh, India to complete my 500 Hour Hatha YTTC. During the 10 weeks I was exposed to not only the intense physical asana practices, but the philosophical and spiritual side of yoga as well. I learned several different cleansing, breathing, meditation techniques as well as physical adjustments for the asana practices in my time in Rishikesh. It was extremely eye opening and fulfilling experience and I am very happy that I decided to do my training there.

Hey everyone! My free online class for the movement festival is this Friday 28th of August.

6pm - 7:15pm GMT - Mixed Movement Flow

- Synchronising classical yoga with martial arts, calisthenics and animal locomotion, this physically demanding practice is ideal for movers of all types.
- There is a focus on the transitions from posture to posture, rather than the holding of postures. The slow and controlled movements are designed to improve mobility, agility, flexibility and strength.
- Due to the nature of the practice, some extra space around your mat may be required.

Donations will go to .org and in doing our part to help positive change on our planet

Come join the fun and bag yourself a ticket NOW

Hello, my name is Sampuran – my friends call me Sam and I teach yoga, meditation and mixed movement classes.

I have been practicing Yoga for over 10 years and was first trained in
Rishikesh, in the foothills of the Himalayas.

The journey of self improvement has taken me to yoga and martial arts schools in India, America and Brazil as well as Morocco as well places closer to home, like Edinburgh.

I love to share my knowledge and to teach people who are serious about their health and wellbeing, both physically and mentally.

I teach a variety of styles (from Vinyasa, Hatha, Power, Yin, Restorative, Beginners and Budokon Yoga), as well as mobility and mixed
movement focused classes.

For the past few years I’ve been living and teaching in Edinburgh, but due to the coronavirus I am currently between Glasgow and Edinburgh teaching one on one or small
groups. I can teach either in my home gym in the South side of Glasgow or at your house, so the sessions will be relaxed and informal but we will still able to achieve our set goals.

My classes would be beneficial to people from all sorts of backgrounds
including athletes, fitness instructors and yoga enthusiasts.
It would be great but not necessary if you already have a love for yoga and movement and understood the basics,
my job would be to take you to the next level.

If you love to challenge yourself and want to see and feel what your
body is capable of doing, get in touch, allow me to work with you and
help you to achieve your fitness goals.

I can tailor the practice to your needs. Either focusing more on the
traditional yoga practices or the more dynamic mixed movement style.

So if you are interested to know more, just drop me a private message and we can arrange a free online consultation prior to any commitments.
