Why you should begin your yoga journey with Hatha Yoga ?

1. Hatha Yoga tradition is one of the ancient practice.

2. All other modern practices are taken from Hatha yoga tradition : Ashtanga Yoga, hot Yoga, yin Yoga, Iyenger yoga, yin yoga, Vinyasa yoga.

3. Hatha Yoga focus on internal and external purification though Shatkarma, Asana, Pranyama, Mudra and Bandha.

4. Hatha yoga prepare body and mind for higher (traditional practices) : Raja Yoga, Kundalini yoga, kriya yoga.

Yoga Nidra literally means “Psychic yogic sleep” 🌸

During Yoga Nidra practice, we enter a state between sleep and wakefulness without losing consciousness. At this time, your intellectual mind is active, but when you are able to relax, the subconscious and unconscious levels of the mind open up.

Yoga Nidra is the practice that helps you dive into the depths of your consciousness. 🌼

Yoga Nidra relieves three types of tension and rejuvenates oneself :

Many students want to concentrate and meditate, but they can not meditate because their body gets tired, or it hurts while sitting for long periods of time. 🔆

Your meditation practice can become effortless when you put efforts into practice for long periods of time. The body needs to get used to the same position and the body needs to go through discomfort to find its comfort. 🦋

Once the body finds its comfort, the mind becomes ready to concentrate and further for meditation. 🌷

Ta**ra is the science of expanding consciousness and releasing energy.

Ta**ra is a means of freeing oneself from attachment.

Ta**ra is a system of practice (sadhana) transmitted orally from a guru (teacher) to a shishya (disciple).

Yoga is considered a small part of Ta**ra, along with:

The word « Guru » or « Guru » is Hindi and Sanskrit: Gu means darkness and Ru means « dispeller. »
Therefore, a guru is one who dispels darkness or ignorance. 🪷

A guru is a personal spiritual teacher whose opinions you admire and respect and whose ideas you follow.

A guru is more than just an instructor; they are a spiritual guide who helps disciples on their path to self-realization. 🧘🏾🧘🏻‍♀️

In ancient India, knowledge of Yoga and the Vedas was transmitted orally from guru to disciples.

In Pranayama Yogic breath is common practice: it is considered the first step in Pranayama practice. 🌸

Yogic breath is used for correcting the breathing pattern and emphasising diaphragm, thoracic, and clavicle regions to function. Because most of the time when we breathe in and out, we use less of the diaphragm and thoracic regions to breathe, and most of the time we are taking short breaths using only the clavicle region. Therefore, yogic breath helps practitioners to understand how breathing works.
