Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) in humans
Signs & Symptoms:
HMPV commonly causes respiratory infections in children, ranging from mild upper respiratory tract symptoms to severe lower respiratory tract infections. Key symptoms include fever, cough, nasal congestion, wheezing, shortness of breath, and in severe cases, bronchiolitis or pneumonia. Infants, toddlers, and immunocompromised children and adults are at higher risk.

Diagnosis:
Diagnosis is made using nasopharyngeal swabs tested by PCR or rapid antigen tests. Chest X-rays may reveal patchy infiltrates in severe cases.

Treatment:
There is no specific antiviral treatment. Supportive care includes hydration, oxygen therapy, nebulization, and fever management. Hospitalization may be needed for severe cases.

Outcome:
Most children recover within 1–2 weeks with appropriate care, though severe cases may require intensive care.

Prevention:
Prevent HMPV by practicing good hygiene, frequent handwashing, avoiding sick contacts, and maintaining clean environments

१- प्रथम मोलर दांत, ये खाना चबाने का मुख्य एरिया है
२-आस पास के दांत खाली जगह मे झुकने से उनकी खाना चबाने की सतह(occlusal area) कम हो जाता है
३- सामने का दांत धीरे धीरे खाली जगह मे आता जाता है जिस से उसकी जड़े कमजोर होती जाती है और
४-ये occlusal plane को खराब कर खाना चबाने के लिए होने वाली बत्तिसी की दाएं बाएँ आगे पीछे जाने को रोकता है
