Apollo Hospital Rourkela, in association with the ISCCM Rourkela Branch, successfully conducted an enriching Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on “Role of Albumin in ICU – Recent Evidence.” on 25th March, 2026

The session by Dr. Harendranath Gangireddy, Junior Consultant, Critical Care, Apollo Hospitals Rourkela delivered valuable clinical insights and encouraged meaningful discussions among participants.

The event was further strengthened by the presence and contributions of Dr. Chetan Reddy, Consultant, Critical Care, Apollo Hospitals Rourkela adding depth to the academic exchange.

World Tuberculosis Day | Respiratory Health Camp at NIT Rourkela

On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day, Apollo Hospitals Rourkela organized a Respiratory Health Camp at NIT Rourkela to promote respiratory health awareness, early diagnosis, and tuberculosis prevention. The camp saw enthusiastic participation from students and staff, along with the presence of senior doctors from NIT Rourkela.

Expert consultation was provided by Pulmonologist Dr. Pruthvi Raj Bandike, Apollo Hospitals, Rourkela offering specialized guidance on lung health, breathing problems, and TB awareness. As part of the initiative, 50+ Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT tests) were conducted to evaluate lung capacity and detect early signs of respiratory diseases.

This health camp focused on spreading awareness about tuberculosis symptoms, lung diseases, preventive care, and the importance of early medical check-ups to maintain healthy lungs. Apollo Hospitals Rourkela remains committed to delivering advanced respiratory care and community health initiatives in Odisha.
