Fever in Kids? Don’t Overbundle!

Think of it like a car engine — when it heats up, pouring cold water doesn’t help, right?

Similarly, when your child has a fever, piling on layers like caps, socks, and multiple sweaters won’t help the fever go down.

✅ What to do:

Dress your child in light, breathable clothes.

For high fever, gentle sponging is fine — but avoid icy water, it can trap heat instead of releasing it.

Paracetamol can be given in the correct dose if needed.

Keep the room comfortable, fans and AC are okay — just avoid sudden temperature changes.

Always consult your doctor if the fever is high or persistent.
